Chapter 7: Uh Oh!

Ruby's point of view:

I reach the controls and black out. I wake up and look over at my dad who is still unconscious on the floor. I run and check the others' and they're also still unconscious. I walk outside and see that I'm on top of a cliff. I look over it and what I see is terrifying. There are hundreds maybe thousands of those slender man things. I should have researched them when I had the chance. Some of the slender man were red with red suits, some were yellow with yellow suits. Only one of them was white with a black suit. He was in the alley way that night. The fact that he is the only white one has to mean something. I don't know what though. The white one looks up and we make eye contact, well sort of considering he doesn't have eyes, or a face. He starts leaving the group and I run into the T.A.R.D.I.S. I close and lock the doors. The windows stop showing sunlight and become darker. He is outside the doors now. I put a hand over my mouth to stay as quiet as I can. I wait for a half hour and HE'S STILL THERE!!! He doesn't say anything or move. This is horrible. That's when Ash walks into the room holding his head. I run up to him and halfway through he says "ow I think I.." I put my hand over his mouth. He is too loud. I put my finger to my lips and point to the window. He looks at me with wide eyes and nods his head telling me he is going to stay quiet. I take my hand off his mouth and grab his hand. 

I take him to my room and ask "will you help me get Sapphire and the others into their beds?" He nods his head and I grab Sapphire's leg while he grabs her wrist and we walk Sapphire from my room to her room and put her on her bed. We found Emerald in the hallway and did the same thing. Finally I ask the T.A.R.D.I.S if my dad has a room and we take him to his room. Finally we walk back into the cortex and see that the shadow is still there. I look at Ash and ask him "can you find me something that I can stand on and look through the window?" He nods his head and leaves the cortex. He comes back ten minutes later with a stool and he hands it to me. I put it in front of the door and stand on it. I put my hands on the window edge and look out of it. I see the white slender man and he sees me. All of a sudden a red tentacle comes out of nowhere and hits the window. I fall backwards off of the stool.

Ash's point of view:

I watch as Ruby stands on the stool and looks out the window. I watch as she looks through the window when all of a sudden I hear a bang against the window. I see Ruby got startled and starts falling off the stool. I run and catch her in the last second. "Are you alright?" I ask genuinely concerned. She looks startled but just nods her head and says "Y-yeah I'm okay." I look at her and ask "What was that?" I'm still holding her in my arms. She stutters out "I-I don't know." I look at her with concern and ask again "are you sure your okay?" She nods her head, but she still looks shocked. Finally she asks "Hey um Ash? Could you put me down? please" I blush and put her down. I stutter out "s-sorry about that." I rub the back of my neck embarrassed that I took so long to put her down. I watch as she looks back at the window and I look too. She sighs and says "It's still there." I look at her and ask "what happened before? to make you fall off the stool?" She looks at me and says "This red tentacle came out of nowhere and hit the winod which startled me. That's not the only thing." What does she mean by that? "what do you mean by that?" I ask her. She looks at the window and then back at me and asks "Do you believe in anything called Slenderman or do you at least know about it?" Like the myth I heard years ago? I remember what people said he looked like so I asked "what does he look like?" I need to make sure if this is the myth. She looks at the window and says "well he's really tall, has black tentacles, no face and he wears a black suit." So it is the myth. Ruby looks at me and I say "Ruby SlenderMan is a myth I heard about six years ago." She looks back at me with wide eyes and says "He can't be a myth. He's right there!" She points to the shadow out the window.

"Well I am real and I'm not a myth I can assure you." A deep voice said that came from outside. Ruby instantly grabs her left arm in pain. I grab her wrist, but she pulls back. I look her in the eyes and I whisper in her ear "Ruby let me see." She lets go of her arm and lets me take a look. I pull up the sleeve of her long sleeve shirt and I see a big scar. I looked at her and ask "that thing did this to you didn't he?" She just nods her head. We look at the window and that's when another tentacle hit the window and Ruby jumped a little bit. The tentacle kept hitting the window and more tentacles hit the door. "We need to get out of here." I whisper. She looks at me and nods her head. She goes up to the controls and pushes a couple of buttons, but nothing happens. She looks at me and says "I don't think it's working, but those doors are strong they are supposed to stay intact for the hardest hits." I look at her and say "The Daleks got in so I'm not so sure about that." She frowns at me and at that moment the doors burst in. Standing in the doorway are two red SlenderMan, two yellow SlenderMan and one white Slenderman. I grabbed Ruby's hand and I pushed her behind me and stood in front of her.

One of the red one seems to talk in our heads and says "Hello Ruby and Ash!!" It's a much deeper voice than the one we heard earlier. "What do you want?" I ask with venom in my voice. They look at us and one of the yellow one says "Well we want you dead. You two are the prophecies." The white one is being quiet. What prophecies are they talking about? "What prophecies?" Ruby asks from behind me. The two red ones start coming closer. The yellow ones say together "The prophecy that you will kill the entire Slender Man race." The white one just stands there looking away from us. The red ones keep getting closer so I grab Ruby's hand again and start to run with her behind me. "Wait Ash let me lead I know the T.A.R.D.I.S better than you do." she says. I nod my head and she pulls in front of me leading me. We start running around corners left and right. I don't see where we are going, but I trust Ruby. I look behind us and the SlenderMan are fast, inhumanely fast. I felt something grab my ankle and pull me away from Ruby. She turns around and tries to hold onto me, but they were too strong. The pull me away and Ruby falls.

Ruby's point of view:

I feel something pulling away from me and I turn around to see Ash in the air with a tentacle wrapped around his ankle. I try to hold onto him, but they were too strong. I fall and watch as the tentacle pulls Ash away from me. I watch as one of yellow slender man grabs his left wrist and left ankle while the other yellow one grabs his right wrist and right ankle. I start crawling backwards when the two red ones start coming towards me. I hit the wall behind me and I look up to see the white one just standing there. "HELP US!!!!!" PLEASE!!" I scream. He has his head pointing towards the floor. One of the red ones turns around and says "don't do anything." He turns around and points at me. "and you. shut up." As the red ones get closer I put my hands up to block myself. I don't want to use my powers in case they hurt Ash because of that. I feel something slimy wrap around my wrist and when I look up I see a red tentacle wrapped around it. I try to pull away from it, but it got tighter around my wrist and then another tentacle grabs my other wrist. They pull me to my feet and hold me a couple of feet off the ground. Two tentacles wrap around both of my ankles and I keep struggling to try and break free. "LET ME GO!!!" I scream. I feel something wrap around my waist and start squeezing me. It keeps squeezing until it starts getting hard to breath. I hear someone scream "RUBY!!!!" Then all I see is black.
