Chapter 9

*BANG*

Shocked, I looked up at the source of the noise. In front of me, stood Yoochun, who had just slammed his hands against the desk.

"Who's this?" He questioned, cocking his head towards Taemin and raising his eyebrows at me.

"Oh! Oh my god, Yoochun! That scared me!" I exclaimed, taking in a deep breath, my eyes still wide from shock.

"Who's this?" He repeated, now staring right at Taemin. He drummed his fingers loudly against the desk, waiting for an answer.

Looking towards Taemin, who was staring straight back at Yoochun with a blank face, I said, "This is Taemin. He's my friend that came back to Korea a few days ago. Remember? He came to the cafe on Monday??"

Yoochun's face twisted into a frown as he gave Taemin the once over. "Why's he sitting in me seat? I want to sit next to my GIRLFRIEND." He said, stressing the word girlfriend, and glanced over at me.

Heaving a sigh, I introduced Taemin to Yoochun. "Taemin ah, this is Yoochun. Park Yoochun. Yeah, he's my boyfriend, and ,he's a little upset about you taking his seat..." As I said the word upset, I gave a weary glance towards Yoochun.

Taemin looked at me with wide eyes, taking in the little information I had given him.

"Oh... Alright... I'll just wait at the front of the room till the teacher comes then!~" Taemin smiled as he jumped up out of the seat and stuck his hand out towards Yoochun. "It's nice to meet you Yoochun."

Yoochun shook his hand and proceeded to take his seat, leaning his head on my shoulder and grabbing my hand, while Taemin walked to the front of the classroom, inspecting things like a little boy.. As he did so, I felt my heart beat speed up a little.

OMO!! THAT'S SO CUTE! OMO OMO!! What am I supposed to do?! OH MY GOD!! My mind screamed at me as I felt my face heat up.

"Jaeyeon ah..." Yoochun let out in a soft, deep voice. "Wae?" I stiffly replied.

"Jaeyeon, can I tell you something?" He continued. From the corner of my eye I could see him close his eyes. In my perspective, he seemed like an angel, so pure and so innocent, at this moment.

"What is it?" I whispered, slowly leaning my head against his.

"Promise me you won't leave me, now that your friend is back. Ok?" He whispered back, his voice sounding like a calm melody.

Why? Why does my body tingle when he says that? Why is he so sweet? I... I don't know whether I'll be able to pull through with my plan anymore... He seems like such a child right now... What's this feeling that I'm feeling?

"Mmmm..." I let out, soft and quiet, as I too, closed my eyes.

Yoochun's POV

"Mmmm..." Jaeyeon sighed, her head leaning against mine. As I opened my eyes, I saw that hers were closed, and I smiled to myself.

I don't know anymore. Some of the things I just said to her... They came on their own... I didn't even have to think them up, they just rolled off my tongue naturally. I think, maybe, just maybe, I'm starting to like her...

I closed my eyes again and took in her scent. It smelled like roses and honey, and I couldn't help but wonder, what it'd be like to actually go on a date with her, one with just the two of us. One that was significant, special. I smiled a soft smile as I imagined what it would be like, but the image was soon shattered when I heard Changmin mumble from the back of the room.

"He's getting addicted. Soon, he's actually going to want her, if he doesn't already..."

I could hear a smile in his voice, as I opened my eyes and clutched onto Jaeyeon's hand tighter than before.

I think I should let this course run on its own. I'll stop interfering with it. Let's see where it'll take me...
