Aisha didn't even register her movements as she reacted. A shield expanded around Cain as the knife immediately deflected against it. She wasn't even sure if she was in control anymore. She did know she wasn't going to let this man kill Cain though.

Between Aisha and Victor, was a chair. Aisha leaped over it and took it with her in one swift motion. It came up and over her head and right at Victor.

Victor had heard about her. However, he had only heard about her hours ago. Their 4th member, Aiden had returned from his last reconnaissance completely unaware of any assassination plan. They had thought he was joking. However, further investigation into his mind by a fellow comrade with telepathic abilities revealed his mind had been wiped clean of any sort of info pertaining to his most recent visit. They had opted to leave him behind, due to him being a liability.

Victor had assumed that she'd have no power, considering that Selina had activated the magic disruptor. He knew that the inhabitants of the Ethereal realm all had an innate connection to the magic roots of the world. A simple little gadget easily fixed this. All the others had been affected, if not weakened, why hadn't she been? He was caught off guard by the shield around Cain but not her attack. Victor blocked her attack and countered her with an attempt at a swift throat chop.

Aisha masterfully deflected his swipe and grabbed the arm. She twisted it, making him turn his back to her. Aisha kicked the back of his knees and he grunted as his knees hit the floor. There was a desk right in front of where he had fallen. Aisha grabbed the back of his head and slammed his face down on the desk. Pulling him back up, she pulled him to his feet. She could see he was dazed and his nose was now bleeding. She didn't know what abilities he had nor did she really want to.

Aisha gripped the side of his face and her eyes glowed even brighter. She reached into his mind and unleashed terror. The man screamed as he was brought back to his knees. He was going into sensory overload. Whatever he feared, he was going to feel it, thousands of times over.  This was certainly Victor, she could confirm it now. Aisha unleashed one last surge of energy and she had to pull back to avoid actually killing the man. Victor fell over, twitching and muttering incoherently.

Cain had been staring at Aisha the whole time. Unbelievable. Her speed. Her power. Her strength and beauty. It was striking. She had dispatched the man without even trying.

Victor dropped at his feet. Aisha turned and looked at Cain and released the shield. With Victor, half-fried, Cain was able to get free. The silver had somewhat burned his skin. He pulled up and the chains immediately broke off and slid off his arms.

Aisha looked at Cain as he stood up rubbing his arms. She couldn't help but notice how he towered over her. Her own height was at least 5ft 10in and she was still looking up at him.

His suit jacket was open and his white dress shirt was ripped in a few areas. Her eyes fell to the right side of his chest. Sure enough, there was the galaxy soul-mark that sat on his right pectoral. It was surreal to actually see it in person. Her heart fluttered for a second as she continued to stare at it.

She blinked quickly. Aisha had almost forgotten about the other people in the room. The gray-haired woman stared intently at Aisha and the guards had begun to move forward. The woman seemed as if she was about to say something.

Gunshots rang out from the distance.

Using the surprise as a distraction, Aisha bolted out the door. She could hear shuffling and movement but she refused to look back. Flying down the hallway, she returned to the archway and stopped short on her heels.

The Lycan men that had been nearly drowned were up and milling about. They had tied up their ever so lovely assaulter, Catherine. She still sat unconscious on the floor. They were looking over the edge when Aisha burst back onto the second-floor overhang.
