The limo ride to the airport was a short one. The airport was a simple drive across a bridge and little ways away from the city.

Everyone was certainly tired after the night's events. Carina and Raphael revealed that the intruders had refused to reveal any information about their plot or reasons for this attack. Carina and Raphael simply didn't bother with them anymore. They used the same machines that the humans had used to get there to make sure they sent them right back. There was no need to keep these attempted murderers on Etheria land anymore.

The limo pulled up onto the airport landing strip and Aisha peered out her window to see a relatively large matte black jet. There were several men waiting at the foot of the steps that led up into the jet. The limo pulled up and the party filed out. Carina made her way to the steps as Raphael followed her. Aisha took a few steps forward and paused. She looked back at the city skyline she could see dotting the landscape.

She didn't know when she'd be back if ever. Aisha didn't realize she had taken a step backward as she felt a small pressure on the small of her back. Cain had appeared behind her. He looked at her with a small smile and his golden eyes flashed in the moonlight. Aisha gave him a slight smile and shot one last glance at her home. She smiled at the guards on either side who she had seen earlier. As she walked up to the steps to the jet, she realized that her whole life was about to change.

The jet was gorgeous on the inside. It looked like a compacted living room. There were a fridge and a bar right across from the entrance door. On either side, there was a couch and towards the front of the plane were actual plane seats with belts. Aisha and Cain joined the other two in the front area and strapped in. Carina had seemingly already fallen asleep and Raphael was close behind her.

Aisha smiled at the two as Carina's head slumped onto Raphael's arm and his head drifted down on her own head. She laid her head back and closed her eyes. She wanted to see their arrival so she'd sleep only for a little while.

Aisha opened her eyes to sunlight pouring into the plane. She stretched and realized she had been sleeping on Cain. He didn't move and she carefully removed herself from him and stood up. She walked towards the front of the plane, moving towards the bathroom and paused before she entered. The cockpit door was ajar. Strange. She walked forward a little and pushed open the door. It was eerily silent.

The pilot and the co-pilot weren't moving. She tapped the pilot and his body slumped over to the side. She screamed. She turned around, moving back to wake Cain.

"CAIN!", she yelled. He still didn't move. She shook him again and yelled his name. Nothing. Aisha checked his pulse and was relieved to see it was extremely strong. She did the same with Carina and Raphael. Strong pulse, no response. She moved towards the back of the plane. There had been a curtain divide where she assumed all the guards would be seated. She gasped as she entered through the curtain. There were ten guards. They were either on the floor or slumped in their seats.

Aisha moved over to the nearest guard who was slumped in a chair. She leaned over him and felt for his pulse. It was still there. She hadn't realized his eyes were open and staring directly at her.

"Can you hear me?" she said. He blinked twice.

Before she could ask another question, the guard's eyes got wide and he fixed his gaze on something past her shoulder. Aisha tried to turn around but all of a sudden, she saw something flash in front of her face and then it tightened around her neck. She grasped at it as she was dragged backward gasping for air. She could see the panic in the guard's eyes as she was pulled back through the curtain.

Aisha was struggling to breathe and she had no clue who her assaulter was. She kept one hand on what felt like wire around her neck and she moved the opposite one back towards the assaulter. All she felt was cold metal. A cold metal hand grabbed her hand and pulled it sharply behind her back. Aisha could barely even register the pain through her lack of oxygen.

Her vision was getting blurry and she could taste blood in her mouth. She wasn't going down like this. She quickly stood up and backed herself into the attacker and rammed into the wall. Aisha heard a grunt and felt the grip on her arm loosen. She yanked it out of the metal grip and re-used it to stop the stranglehold.

Aisha didn't get much time as the attacker shoved her forward and slammed her whole body into the bar stand. Her vision almost went black and all she could do was tighten her grip on the wire to stop it from slicing her neck open. She tried using her powers but she couldn't concentrate long enough to focus. Her consciousness was slipping and she could feel her grip faltering.
