Aisha had never been one to give up. In her training as a child, she learned that there was always a way. The guardians of Etheria that had trained her made sure that she had that drilled into her head. They had taught her that life was valuable and it was something that need always be protected. Aisha had learned so many things during her time with the guardians, including knowing when to unleash your rage.
Aisha could feel the last bits of strength leaving her body and she wasn't for it. She willed herself to stand. Aisha took one elbow and slammed it back into the assaulter. That wasn't the attack she needed though.
At all times, energy flowed through Aisha's body and she could manifest it in unlimited ways. She reeled her arm forward and slammed it again into what felt like a hard metal plate. This time she focused a pure energy spike out of her elbow and felt it slide through metal and then it met a softer surface. A scream erupted from behind her and she felt the wire completely loosen off her neck.
She leaned forward and kicked back sending her assailant flying backward. Aisha turned around and dropped to her knees, lungs taking in as much oxygen as they had been deprived of. While she was attempting to recover, she was taken aback at who her attacker had been.
It was a human man but he was in some sort of full-body armor that seemed to be directly connected to him. There were wires that seemed embedded in his body. The armor was all white except for his helmet which had a black visor. His helmet was connected directly to armor on his back and it seemed that the visor, directly connected to the helmet, shielding his eyes. He was now sitting against the wall holding his bleeding wound.
He looked at Aisha incredulously. She stood up, rubbing her neck, and began to move toward the man.
"I wouldn't if I were you," a voice said from behind the curtain.
A tall, dark-skinned woman walked out from behind the curtain. She wore a long shirt that looked kinda like a dress but with no front part when it hit the waist, along with simple black jeans. She wore black boots that her jeans were tucked into. The woman also held a gun in her hand and pointed it right at Aisha.
The woman leaned over the man who seemed a tad pale from the loss of blood. With one hand aiming and the other fiddling with the suit of armor, the woman kept her eyes down on the man. However, Aisha could see that she was side-eyeing her.
When the woman stood up, she gave a smug smile.
"Neurotoxin," she said plainly.
Aisha wrinkled her brows and looked at the woman.
"You're wondering why they all aren't moving? Right? It's a special coma-inducing, paralyzing neurotoxin of my own design, actually derived from a flower of this world. It works especially well on Lycans." She explained, a little too naturally for Aisha's liking.
Aisha really wanted to knock this heifer out. If it was a toxin, she could heal it out of them but that would take a lot of her power.
"Who are you?", Aisha asked. She was technically stalling for time, she still hadn't recovered from her escapade with the robot man.
"Adria Kungu, scientist and tech whiz", she said as she bowed.
As she said this the Manbot, as Aisha had opted to call it temporarily, stood up and Aisha's eyes widened. The wound was completely healed and the armor seemed to be forming and fixing itself until it had not a scratch.
Aisha looked at both of them and rolled her eyes. This was no longer a game. This was life-or-death.
"Kill her," Adria said, "I'll handle the leader."
