I couldn't really sleep last night so I'm not exactly at my fullest today. I am supposed to be helping set up for the ball so they told me to go out into town and get decorations for tonight.

"if never road a horse" sebastian wanted me to take one of the horses.
"Well then let me teach you" he hopes up on the horse and held a hand out to me, he looked like one of those fairy tail princes that come alone to take his true love far away from all her problems. wait why am i,thinking like that, I'm not his true love, he would be holding his hand out for some one else. I pictured a beautiful woman with him, some one not me, it was so easy.
why do I care tho?, I don't.

"are you coming?" He still has his hand out, waiting for me. I grabed his hand and hoisted myself up on the horse, in front of him so I had control.
"Now relax your shoulders and arms" he put his hands on my shoulders, I was only wearing a tank top so I felt his cold hands, that's when I realized he took his gloves off.
"Now still having your arms relaxed hold onto the rins tightly" I felt his hands tail down my shoulders to my forearms
"now you need to straighten your back and stop slouching" he put his hands back on my shoulder and pulled my back straight, my back was against his chest and I could feel his chest, he was very muscular, his usual outfit hides it but he didn't have his coat on right now. feeling his breath on my neck he continued.
"Now, just gently kick the his side with your heel and we will be off" he spoke softly and I could feel every word hit my neck. I did as he told me and the horse started to trot.
"Good now let go a little faster" I nudged the horse again and he started to speed up, I was starting to get kinda scared, if I mess up we could get hurt.
"your doing fine just watch the road, when we get to town I will show you how to slow down" I simply nodded, it wasn't just the horse making me nervous. my back was still against his back as we road down the old dirty road to town. it was beautiful outside today, we both enjoyed the ride as the town came into site.
"Alright now pull back on the rins gently" I did as he said once more and the horse started to slow down.
"excellent my dear" I could still feel his breath on my neck and I actully started to like the heat.

We made it to town and where walking around looking for decor for the party. I found some navy blue streamers and table cloths. sebastian picked up some extra food for tonight.
"Alright let's head back before the young Lord starts getting aggravated with Elizabeth." I laugh a little, it seem like the young Lord loves her but isn't as affectionate.
I didn't notice sebastian watching me until we got the horse. I looked back at him from the side and raised one eyebrow. he smiled then continued to look forward.

We road back to the manor the same way we left, with uncomfortable closeness.
"if you hated it so much then how come you didn't say anything?" He smirked while still sitting up on his high horse, literally.
I glared then turned to the manor holding most of the decoration.
"so cold my dear, you wound me" I continued to walk inside not giving a damn about his "feelings".

After putting up all the decorations I need a break. I ploped down on the couch and pulled my hair tie out, letting my hair flow down my back.

she looked beautiful with her hair down. I go to the kitchen to make the food for tonight, y/n following me right after.
"Well hello, are you here to help me cook?" she simply nodded her head, I liked how she was so silent, it left more to the imagination. I gave her a few things to do, mixing ingredients and preparing drinks. I watched her closely, I noticed she tilts her head to one side when she is focused, she also seems to zone out quite a bit, she will be mixing and her eyes just go kinda blank, off in her own world.
"What are you thinking about" usually I could just read her mind but that only works when she allows me, or if she didn't know, But she seems not want to give me permission. she makes me curious, and I'm not exactly sure why, she's not like most humans.
she dosnt answer me, just a side look. I couldn't read her face right now, it was blank.

After awhile we where still cooking, she seemed tierd. I was preparing samples when I heard a light humming. I turned to y/n, she was over by the window washing some dishes humming a song of never heard before. I stoped and stared at the back of her head, wondering what her face looks like right now.
she continued to hum, it was a sweet song, claiming. then she did something that surprised me, she started to sing the song
"You are my sunshine,

when sky's are gray,
you'll never know dear,

please don't take my sunshine away."
her voice was soft but it was simply perfect, I was memorized by her voice.
"the other night dear,
when I lay sleeping,
I drempt that I held you in my arms, when I awoke dear,
I was mistaken,
so I hung my head and cried"

"Sebastian! are you almost ready?" and like that she was quite, like it never happend. her voice sinking back down to the bottom like a rock.

"sebastian!" I snapped out of my trance and turned to the young Lord.
he held a kinda shocked yet angry  face while y/n peeked over her shoulder.
"guest will be arriving soon, stop playing around and get to work!" I bowed, him walking afterwards. y/n scoffed under her breath, I gave her a questioning look.
"if he's in such a hurry why dosnt he do it himself?" giving sass, like always, such a free spirit. then it hit me at that moment, her soul it strong, but it is strong because pain in her past, just the young Lord, but something was different.

'I'm so tierd of that brat yelling at everyone else when he has two hands just everyone else, he could help.'
we finished the food and put it out for the guest, then I went up to the roof, I was tierd of all the noise and needed to get away. the city light lit up the sky but that's not what I wanted to see. I turned the other way and looked out into the dark abyss of trees lit by moon and star light, now this is true beauty. I could hear the loud laughter of the ritch snobs down stares, enjoying their giving riches. I climbed down and went out into the field next to the manor, lit by moon light, I could see the grass swaying in the gentle wind. I sat down on the hard ground on top a small hill, I couldn't hear the party from here.
'that's better' I raped my arms around myself as the night breeze hit my bare skin. I felt something go over my shoulder, should have guessed.
"Well hello" he did his closed eye smile.
'isn't he supposed to be at the ball?' he sits down next to me
"Yes but I figured you went off somewhere much nicer. I smiled a little, he knows I don't care for being around more than a few people at a time or I get irritated.
"I have tanaka looking after things" I looked over in confusion,
"that little dude that doesn't say anything other than "ho ho ho".
"Don't worry, you know you can trust me" he turned back to the sky as I continued to look at him, could I trust him? I thought back to the past month , he taught me how to dress and talk in this day & age, and some how he was always there when I was feeling sad or stressed out. he got me a home and a job and even took the time out of his day to teach me all the things I have to do, he gets yelled at by ciel and still comes to me when I run away from everything else. so yea I trust him. I trust him more then I trust myself.

"hm? what" he turned back to me when he saw me looking at him still. I smiled and placed a finger on his cheek
"boop" I smiled and laughed at his shocked face then turned my attention back to the field of trees in front of me.

she poked my cheek, then she smiled, her smile, it lit up the world, it makes you feel like everything is going to be ok. she showed her teeth, she had buck teeth, It was cute, her eyes srunched up and small dimples formed.
she looked back to the field, the moon light shining in her eyes. I felt something, something I havnt felt in a long time, happiness, in all my years of being a demon, only at rare times do I feel emotion. anger has been the most frequent in my life. i have felt happiness before, once, I was in Egypt. I made a deal with a woman, she made me happy once. before that time I had been ridiculed and hated, I was very angry for a long time, she made me laugh, showed me compassion, her soul had a very divine tast. but y/n is different, I don't want to eat her soul, I want to be with it. apart of it, hold it in my arms and protect it from harm.

the party was soon over and we had to clean up, I had to practly drag y/n back because she didn't want to go back. y/n was still down in the ball room helping the others clean up while I put the young Lord to bed.

"sebastian" he sat up in his bed as I was about to walk out.
"Yes my lord" I turned back to see him with quite an irritated face.
"where were you tonight?" I knew it
"Well my Lord I had to take care of some important business-
"save it, I know you where with y/n, I told you to never lie to me" he threw a dart at my head, I caught it easily.
"I didn't lie to you my Lord, she is very important to me" I blew out the candals and shut the door.
I'm not sure why but,

she is important to me.
