Noah moved into his dorm room two days after I moved in. I was mad I couldn't help him move but I was too busy with classes myself.
I had been on campus for a week and I hadn't seen any sign of Jack, luckily. However, the semester was still very young and I knew I was bound to run into him at some point. Though, I didn't think I'd actually run into him.
I was walking through the library, paying attention to the books I was checking out and not what what in front of me. I ran into the tall figure head first, dropping my books.
Before even looking up to see who it was, I dropped down to the ground to pick them up. The man cleared his throat and helped me pick them up.
"Oh my God, I'm so sorry. I never pay attention to where I'm going." I said as I scrambled to get the books back into my arms.
"Um, yeah I know."
The voice was all too familiar. A voice I listented to for two years, a voice that I used to love.
I looked up and saw Jack. "Oh shit, I didn't even realize-" I started.
"It's okay, Sophia." He laughed. "I know you never pay attention to where you're going." He laughed dryly.
