Rence’s POV
It’s been days since we Neil, Kris and Annie started the audition. And as I can see Dave has the chance in being the new guitar player.
I can also say he’s fun to be with.
To be honest? Since Dave came and become our friends Neil doesn’t join fights anymore and Kris is more close to us than before. I can also see that Annie is getting prettier these days I wonder why (though it’s already obvious.)
Days passed and as what we all expected Dave is the new guitar player (specifically bass guitar player.) Every weekends we come to our studio and practice every song that is on our playlist.
Our teachers discovered that we have a band and they decided that we should perform live and share our talent in music so we could inspire others to have more passion in music. At first we were all shocked but we’ve moved on already and in a few minutes we’ll performing live in front of may students.
It’s our turn and before we start our song I gave them a message.
“Music is not just about singing, playing instruments and such. Music is about having a passion, music is about giving a rhythm into one’s life that has no beat, no melody. Music is about showing what you feel and music is about expressing what you are.”
Then I started singing...
Wish it could be easy
Why is life so messy?
Why is pain a part of us?
There are days I feel like
Nothing ever goes right
Sometimes it just hurts so much
But You're here
You're real
I know I can trust You
Even when it hurts
Even when it's hard
Even when it all just falls apart
I will run to You
'Cause I know that You are
Lover of my soul
Healer of my scars
You steady my heart
You steady my heart
I'm not gonna worry
I know that You've got me
Right inside the palm of your hand
Each and every moment
What's good and what gets broken
Happens just the way You plan
You are here
You're real
I know I can trust You
Even when it hurts
Even when it's hard
Even when it all just falls apart
I will run to You
'Cause I know that You are
Lover of my soul
Healer of my scars
You steady my heart
You steady my heart
And they responded us with a round of applause.
