Hey y'all, so yeah were here. In all honesty, I really just wanted to wrap this up bc I started it when I was twelve and Im not in the homestuck fandom anymore, but I dont want to leave yall on without a proper ending. Im sure somewhere down the line Ill come back and edit or add chapters, however, so to compensate for that, im going to do a big ol' time skip (~15 years)

Your POV

Whoo, deep breath y/n. You can do this, you look fine af you know hes gonna look like the most handsome person in the world. You were currently looking at yourself in the mirror, wearing your dream wedding outfit and looking over the sheet of paper you had written your vows on. There was a small knock on the door as Sullox came in. He looked dashing in his suit accented with a f/c flower and undershirt.
"Y/n, oh my gog!" He gasped loudly when he saw you, his eyes brightening as he rushed to close the door. Being your best man, he was the only one, besides Kanaya who had made the outfit, allowed to see you before the ceremony. "You look amazing!"
You smiled, turning back around to face him. "Im glad you think so, I was starting to think it was a bit much." Sollux shook his head, still beaming at you.
"I can't believe you're getting married, well officially anyway." He chuckled as you remembered how when you and eridan had gone to the courthouse and signed the papers to get married in the eyes of the law but wanted to save up so you could have the wedding of your guys' dreams
"I know, it all feels like a dream. Like Im just going to wake up and none of it will be real." He nodded, looking at his phone as a message popped up on screen. He quickly replied before looking back up at you withe the dopiest grin imaginable
"Ready?" You nodded, picking up the bouquet of orchids and fav/flower and walking towards the door. Sollux linked arms with you and led you to the curtain that led to the trail of flower petals that nepeta had left along the sand. You looked up and saw the last of your wedding party walking up to the alter. The music started and everyone looked back at you. You heard gasps and little things like "theyre so gorgeous" and "they look so happy" both were true as there was the happiest, brighest smile plastered onto your face as you and Sollux made your way down the isle. You finally saw Eridan as you turned around the corner and headed down the final bit. Tears pricked at the corners of your eyes as you smiled even brighter. He wore a tuxedo with an orchid pinned to the front, his hair was styled back as always, although a little more professionally. He was the most beautiful thing you've ever seen and, judging by his expression as soon as he saw you, he was thinking the same about you. Once you reached the end you handed your bouquet to Sollux and walked up onto the platform with Eridan and Cronus, who had offered to officiate for the two of you. It took every ounce of self-control for you not to kiss your love right now. Cronus cleared his throat and everything went silent
"Dearly belovveds, we are gathered here today to wvitness the bonding betwveen my favvorite couple. They havve both faced some tough challenges together and alone, making this moment even more precious. But, enough from me, lets hear it from these twvo lovebirds." He took a step back, gesturing to you and Eridan. Sollux and Karkat walked up, each holding a few different items and Eridan grabbed your hand, starting his part of the vows.
"Wwith this hand, I will lift your sorrowws." He kissed it as you grabbed a cup from Sollux with your other hand.
"Your cup will never be empty, for I will be your wine." You gave him a drink of the wine inside the cup, handing it back to Sollux.
"Wwith this candle, I will light your wway into darkness." He handed you a long white candle, lighting the end of it as he spoke. You handed it to Cronus, who placed it in a candle holder while you said the last part in unison. "W(w)ith this ring, I ask you to be mine." You each put the ring on each other's finger, barely able to breath you were so happy.
"I now wish you a hapily-ever-after. You may now kiss your love." You took no time before pulling Eridan into a passionate kiss, not pulling away until you absolutely had to. Everyone cheered in the background as you rested your foreheads together. You laughed euphorically.
"I can't believe we did that. I've always dreamed of using those vows, but ive never dreamed it being this good." He chuckled, nodding. You pulled away and looked at the crowd, all your friends and family. Sollux handed you back the bouquet while yelling at everyone to get into a group for the toss. You turned around and counted to three before tossing the flowers behind you. You heard a few different yells as you turned back around and saw Rose holding it. You chuckled and looked over to Kanaya next to you "If you propose at my wedding, I will die at your funeral."
She chuckled in response, "Don't worry, I'll wait a couple weeks." She grabbed her phone and showed you a picture of a beautiful engagement ring accented with tiny jade stones. "What do you think?"
You took the phone, trying to be as nonchalant as possible in your excitement. "Oh my god, Kanaya this is beautiful. I was joking, i would not be upset if you proposed. Thats so exciting!" She smiled and shook her head, going to say more before Eridan walked back up.
He held out his hand to you, "Mr/Mrs/Mx. Ampora, our chariot awaits." You took his hand, smiling as he led you to a limo that was going to take you to the reception hall. You got in, followed by Eridan, Sollux, Kanaya, Rose, Karkat, and Cronus. Once you were all settled in the driver started heading towards the reception hall. You and Erdian sat close together, holding hands the entire way. You laughed with your friends, joking and drinking champagne throughout the drive. You got out once everyone else had gotten out, folloing them with your hand intertwined with Eridan's as you entered the party room. Some people had already gotten there and greeted you all as you entere. A clearing was set up as a dance floor amid the tables and chairs and there were prompt cards at every seat (read after honeymoon, first anniversary, 15th anniversary, first fight, etc). Your cake sat up on the head table, in between yours and Eridan's seats. It was magnificent, everything you had asked for meticulously crafted to perfection.
You looked over at Eridan, "Are you ready for our first party married?" He nodded and you both went forth eagerly, partying the night away with everyone you loved.
