Restraint

18 1 1

Her mind a terrain of zeal

Her smile a gleam of everlasting contentment

Her hands empty and heart free

Her mouth no longer an ocean of dissemble

Her every verse assertive yet conscientious

Her walk filled with purpose, and stance of stone

Her cheeks clear as the clouds clear above

Her every step peaceful, pleasant, planned

Her eyes the color of soil, growing every day

not of chocolate melting in the heat

Her war calm as a peace treaty is finally signed

Her vehicle placed in drive feet on the gas, reverse a distant memory

Her hazy please, thank you, I'm sorry becomes more clear

And finally, everyone's World is a little softer

Her chest warm when her eyes land on others

Her head cool as her purpose is a little clearer

And finally, she makes sense

Her heart, mind, and body is for once the aura of restraint.

(A/N: What do you guys think? I have to turn in a poem for a 400pt assignment in my English Lit class but I'm not sure if its good. Tell me what you think and if I should maybe change anything, It'd really help me out)
