Interview: LightningStrikeTC

Here's for our third interview for LightningStrikeTC! She is the admin of the account as well.

1. What's your name?

The name's Lightning.

2. How would you describe yourself?

I would say . . . Sometimes annoying (cause I can annoy myself even T_T). But a shy, nerdy person :3 I love to read and write, and those are my favorite things to do on my free times, and I LOVE classical music, since I play violin, clarinet and guitar. I love music overall, any types too, especially those from the 80's and 90's and I listen to lots of Brazilian music. I am just one of those Warrior fans with annoying curly hair

3. What languages do you speak?

By far, I speak English, Spanish and Portuguese (but I am learning Japanese and French. That might take a while)

4. Have you ever been to a foreign country? Anywhere other than what you call home? If so, what are some interesting things you saw there?

Uhh, home is America and Brazil . . . And I've seen lots of interesting things. (too lazy to describe.)

5. What is it that inspired you to write?

Hehehe I am currently writing a story based on my mom's real life, so she inspired me some. Erin Hunter also inspired me to be the person I currently am, and I write mainly because she wrote such amazing books :)

6. Why did you choose your username on here? Does it represent you? Is there a story behind it?

Well, my username means lots. There are two people who share this account here, the Roleplayer, and me. We both love warriors. So when we were creating it, she said she wanted a warrior's name and I picked one that totally represented me, "Lightningstrike." Sadly, it didn't work, so she decided "LightningStrikeTC" since TC stands for ThunderClan.

7. How old were you when you took an interest in writing?

Well, I've always loved writing. But when I started taking it seriously was when I was 11 years old. (Those were good times).

8. What was the first story you've written that you can remember? Is it on Wattpad?

The first story I have written is called "Warrior Cats: Frost and Flames," a continuation of the original books. It's sadly not on Wattpad anymore because I wasn't such a good writer then, and nobody recognized my works. So I took it down and started it from scratch. Twice. Now it's up as "Warriors: The Broken Path: Frosty Rain," but it is definitely not what I want and I am remaking it AGAIN.

9. Do you prefer to write your story on paper first? Or do you just go straight to the computer?

Well . . . that is a hard decision. I love to write in my notebooks a lot, but when it comes to Wattpad, I would choose it over hand writing. I just really love to write with pens and pencils since I get a chance to practice my handwriting, but it feels like I get more ideas popping up when I'm on the laptop (or the shower xD). But if I am on the road somewhere else far away from a laptop and my phone/iPad is dead, I would write it, cause I take notebooks with me wherever I go.

10. How did you find Wattpad, and what is the reason you decided to stay?

I wanted to post my very first warrior's fanfiction, so I opened my laptop and went to trusty old Google, searching up websites where you can write and publish. And here I am! I stayed cause I was amazed by the community

11. What is your favorite book on Wattpad, what is this story that makes it your favorite, and why would you suggest this book to others?

Definetly "The Fox and the Wolf" by @austin_luver. It's about a girl running over a fox spirit, that goes inside of her, and then she's able to shift into it! She also meets wolves on the way of her adventure :) My favorite warrior's book is "Warrior cats: The making of destruction #1: The Three Newcomers," by GlaringShadow. It's about a cat named Winterfrost who comes into a foster Clan with foster parents, and oh, does life get hard for her.

12. Wo is your favorite Wattpad author in all of Wattpad?

I cannot say. I love every book I read :) and it's hard to choose one author if everyone has the same dream.

13. How did you find out about Warriors and what made you stick to the series?

I was in fourth grade . . . A boy showed me this manga called "Warriors: Return to the Forest book 3" (I think that's what it's called) about a cat named Sasha who fell in love with Tigerstar and had his kits when she knew he was bad and she left him .3. I cried so much and so did my friend. And then I got the first book, but I was too lazy to read it for a while since it had no pictures, but finally I read it.

14. What is your favorite scene from Warriors?

My favorite scene from Warriors is when Jayfeather was trying to save Flametail from drowning. I don't know but that kinda started something in the Clans.

15. Who is your favorite character from warriors and why is this character your favorite?

My favorite character is Jayfeather. I love his personality, and especially his power of the Three! I somewhat feel like he's struggling with so many things as well. I just love him.

16. What would your warrior name be and why?

It still gotta be Lightningstrike. She's a small cat, but that never got in her way even if she struggles with so many friendships. It totally goes with my very own personality. Also, she is called Lightningstrike because she is fast like one :D

17. What inspired your fanfictions?

Sometimes I would like to eavesdrop on my friend's Roleplays (the one who shares the account with me) and that's how I get it sometimes ^o^ And some are from things I wish changed (for example, do you remember that deaf kit, Snowkit? I decided to make a fanfiction changing his story!) I also loved the original series so I wanted to continue it.

18. How many people do you know who also reads Warriors?

None. I can't count the boy who showed me warriors cause he only read ONE manga.

19. Has anyone you've known in person made fun of you for the fact you read warriors?

Of course! >:( when I would read warriors everyday in school people would tease me sooo much grrr!

20. What is your favorite Wattpad fanfiction? Why and who is the author?

Like I said, is "Warrior cats: The making of destruction #1: The Three Newcomers," by GlaringShadow. It's different from the rest! :D

21. What are some other books you read, (not from Wattpad?)

Lots. LOTS. Over 90 through 2013-2014

22. What's something about you that nobody would know just by seeing you?

I am this classical violin-poet-artist person (and everyone can see) but nobody would know just by seeing me that I sleep listening to some hardcore music >dubstep/pierce the veil/ etc<. I don't know but with music like that, I get sleepy. Probably since it ignites my wildest dreams :D

23. Are there any other websites that you would suggest to the rest of the Wattpad community?

Nope. Wattpad is the best.

24. Is there anything you'd like to say to fans and readers? Any shout outs to specific Wattpad members?

Course!! @NEJIXTENTEN who I don't think is a warriors fan, but who has always been there for me. Also, @werejorden123 -- a trusty warrior roleplayer that I like to rp with!
