Peeta's Pov
It is already lunch time and Katniss and i are walking to the cafeteria with Johanna, Annie, and Finnick. When the one person nobody wants to see comes up to us. Delly Cartwright. She comes right up to me and I can see what shes about to do. And i was right, she pushed me right up against the lockers and kissed me. I pushed her off of me and walked of. I didn't even want to see Katniss' face, Annie and Johanna already know why Delly always does that, and they are most likely telling Katniss. And if you don't know already Delly has had a huge crush on me for ever, and last year I said I would date her and see how it turned out, but then I found out she just wanted to get in my pants and that she didnt like me any more and broke up with her. And now she just wants me because I'm popular.
I walked out of the school and walked over to Gales car, were he usually is at lunch time. I walked over to him.
" Hey Peeta, Whats the matter you look down?" he asked.
"Delly just messed up my chances with Katniss." I say. And he just nodded because he nows everything that has happened.
"I'll tell you what, If you help me with get a date with Johanna I will talk to the girls and see if Katniss likes you. And if she does I will talk to her for you." When he says this, I start to think. First of all I always new he liked Johanna and that they were going to get together at some point. Also this will really help me because I think I heard Annie said that the girls are going to have a sleep over this weekend and maybe I will as her to help me out to. So when I finished thinking to myself I loo back up at Gale.
" You my friend have a deal." I say. He just nods his head and walks off.
Katniss' Pov
I do not want to explain what i just saw. But to make it a little easier some chick walked up to Peeta and kissed him! I don't even know how I feel. I turn to look at Annie and Johanna, and they have the look of disgust on there face.
" Do I even want to as what that was about?" I asked them both.
"Well do you want the easy explanation or the long one." Johanna said and I said the long one because I want to now as mush about this as I could.
After they finished explaining it, I understood it more but I do want to know why he stormed off like that. the I was brought out of my thinking by Annie asking me something.
" Hey Katniss do you want to have a sleep over this weekend." she said looking at her phone.
" Sure, I guess."
~Friday~
I have to say that this week has gone by really fast. I havent really talked to Peeta that much even though I know why Delly did that, but I still need to know why he just walked of like that and didn't just go off on that bitch. But anyways it is currently 7th period and we have 2 minutes before the bell rings. I don't even know what the teacher is talking about but all of the sudden the bell rings and I run out the door and go to Annie's car.
When I get there Peeta is talking to Annie and at that moment I am wondering how did he get out class and get to her car so fast, but hen I am wondering what they are talking about but I don't worry about it to much.
"Hey guys." I say. And as soon as the word left my mouth both of there heads turned to me.
"Oh hey Katniss, me and Peeta here were just talking about Johanna's birthday next week and what to get her. Do you have an ideas on what to get her?' Annie asked. I just shook my head and let the breathed out that I was holding in.
" Are Johanna And Clove meeting us at the house or are we driving them here." I asked Annie.
"We are actually walking there, because my car battery is dead and that is also the other reason I was talking to Peeta, he is going to call his dad to come get it so his brother can fix it. So the girls are going to walk with us now " she said.
Right at that time Johanna And Clove come out of the school and are waling over to us. Also at that time Peeta says he has to get going. So we all say goodbye and start walking to the house.
Hey guys I really hope you like this chapter I have really had fun writhing this one and I cant wait to right the next one. I STILL NEED IDEAS FOR MY NEW STORY WHAT SHOULD IT BE ABOUT???
