Katniss' Pov
When I was finally ready, I walked down stairs and met up with Annie to eat breakfast. I turned the corner to be greeted by the whole crew. I guess they could tell my my expression that I wasn't expecting them, because Johanna spike up.
" Hey brainless, sit down and eat something, instead of standing there and staring at us."
"Brainless?" I asked.
" My point exactly." When she said that I caught on that that was the nickname she came up for me. So wit that said I sat down and stared eating some pancakes.
About five minutes later I was done and so was everyone else. So I went to go get by backpack and met them at the car.
~ at school~
We had just arrived at the school, and all I have to say is that this school is twice the size of my old school. Annie said that it was the biggest school in the state of Kentucky, so I didn't question it.
" OK, so who wants to show Katniss to the office so she can get her schedule?" Finnick asked as we neared the front doors.
"I Will" said Peeta, the person I have been trying to ignore the whole morning because of what happened the other day.
And now here I am walking with him down the crowed hall way. We came up to a door and above it said Office so I turned to Peeta And said that I would be back in a minute. I walk in and there is a lady with pink hair and I slowly approach her.
" Um... I need my schedule." I say and she looks up
'' I'm guessing that you are Katniss Everdeen." she says, I just nod and take my schedule and walk out. when I get out of the office, Peeta is leaning against the wall.
"Okay im ready to go." I said to Peeta. But he just looked at me wit an eyebrow raised.
"What... what are you looking at." I finally asked.
" Have you been ignoring me today."
" why would you say that?"
"I don't know.... the fact that you didn't even look at me until I said I would go with you to the office and then the first word you said to me were ' Ill be back in a second." he said and I was a little taken back because, you would have think he would have been yelling that part, but no he was taking like he normally would, like he under stud. But I didn't say anything, I just stood there looking at my feet.
"See your not even looking at me, what did I do." that's when I spoke up.
" You didn'tt do anything, I just thought it would it be weird."
" Don't thin it would be weird because, it was a game of truth or dare so anything that goes down that night always has drama after it or its weird between some people. So don't let it be weird, when we can still be friends." he says as he pulled me into a hug. I just nodded and we waled to m first class which was Mr. Abernathy's class, and Peeta says to call him Haymitch though.
We enter the classroom and I go up to the teachers desk, but instead Peeta tells me to just sit down because the bell still hasn't rung yet. So we sit down.
" Katniss, what are all of the classes you have." Peeta ask because I only told him who I had for 1st period. So instead of telling him is just gave him the paper.
About a minute later, he hands me it back.'
" We have all of the same classes." he said and now that I thought about it, Im glad that I am not ignoring I'm anymore because if I have all but one class with him it would be hard to. But I wonder who else I have classes.
"hey who else has classes with me." I asked Peeta.
" Most of the group has the same classes except I am the only one that as this classes for 1st and I have a different 6th and now since we have the same classes that goes for you to." he says and now Im thinking, that this as going to be a long day.
Hey guys, this is the longest chapter I have written and most of it is because I just gt a new computer!! And remember still need Ideas for the the new story that I will be writing. Also comment what you thought about this chapter.
