The door bell rang at roughly 7:00 I opened it to find Calum with an expression of his usual cheekiness and a little concern. Before I could say anything or even open the door wide enough for him to get in, he pulled me in tight. " Lani I'm so glad your okay" he breathed, " why wouldn't I be I told you I was fine Calum. He stared a me knowing I was lying. " ok Lani so I stopped buy the store and I got you Drumroll please!" He started drumming on the table top." Ben and Jerry's cookie dough ice cream (your favourite), Subway meatball sub ( and yes Lani I also knew this was your favourite), popcorn, several Disney movies and strawberry milkshake! NOW WHO IS YOUR BEST FRIEND EVER!!!!!!" He was so excited I couldn't help but crack a smile."You are Calum!"
Just as we sat down and put monsters inc in the DVD player I heard a key turn in the lock. I sunk down in fear. Calum was about to ask me what was wrong when Josh burst in. "Lani I'm home!!!!!!!!!!" He yelled at the top of his lungs, Before he could notice me I signalled Calum to hide because I could tell josh had been drinking and even when he's sober he gets very jealous , so I didn't want to imagine what he would be like drunk. Calum leapt up slightly too noisily from the sofa and ran to hide in the bathroom. " Lani what was that!!!!! Is someone in here?!?!?!" He barked. He turned the corner and noticed me on the sofa with my hair in a bun and a jumper on. "LANI WAS SOMEONE JUST IN HERE I COULD HAVE SWORN SOMEONE WAS IN HERE?!" He spat at me. "No, no one josh only me I have been alone all night" I mumbled.
He jumped on the sofa next to me and began to kiss my neck, this disgusted me as he stunk of beer and cigarettes, I noticed Calum watching in the background with a face of disappointment. I have tried to break up with josh a few times before but I was to scared in case he got angry. Josh continued to kiss me and began to undo his pants. Calum's face went pale. I tried to push josh off me but he was so persistent " Come on Lani, for me, please?" "No josh please I don't want to!" I kicked him off me and moved over on the sofa. Calum was about ready to bust out and help me but I looked at him to tell him not to. " Lani for god sake! ITS THE ONE THING YOUR GOOD FOR WHY CANT YOU DO THIS FOR ME?!?!"
At that point he jumped on me and began to try and pin me down when Calum came running into the living room " GET OFF HER SHE SAID SHE DIDNT WANT TO!!!!!!!!!!!!" He screamed " I KNEW YOU HAD ANOTHER MAN HERE LANI" josh pushed Calum out of the way and he punched me in the stomach the pain rippled through my body like a shockwave. Calum and Josh began to fight in my kitchen. " LANI GET OUT OF HERE!" Calum barked at me. So I ran upstairs to my bedroom and locked the door.
