That was electric. As Calum came in to contact with me all my problems melted away. All the worries flew away. As he broke the kiss he looked me in the eyes and pulled me into an embrace."Lani I've wanted to do that for a very long time, but right now I have to deal with your abusive asshole of a boyfriend, after last night I realised what he uses you for and I don't like it one bit. It's hard for me to see you with anyone else and the fact that he is awful to you makes it unbearable"
"Calum I didn't think you cared about me that way"
"Of course I do, and I'm gonna do my best to make things right for you"
He continued towards his car.
"Calum I'm coming with you I can't let you face josh alone"
"Ok, but sit in the back I don't want him to see you, he can punch me but he raise a hand to you ever again"
We pull up outside the bar that we both knew he would be at."hold on Calum, one more thing" I press my lips against his and hold the sides of his head."a kiss for good luck" He climbs out of the car door and walks surprisingly calmly into the wine bar.
Sat in this car alone gives me time to think for the first time in the last 48hours.Calum hood just kissed me, but I don't deserve him and I certainly don't want to ever cause him any pain. I am a burden to anyone I'm around and I don't want to put that on cal, Alice Macy and Katlyn don't know the full extent of my depression and I wouldn't want them to they would only get upset which is the last thing I would want. That's why josh would get annoyed with me and rightly so, when I got lonely I would call him and he got tired of my low self esteem. I have to tell Calum we can't be together I will annoy him like I do to everyone else.
Then, Calum comes stumbling out of the pub with a cut just above his eyebrow pouring blood down his nirvana top "Lani we have to get out of here now!" He commands while getting in to the drivers seat of the car "Where are we going?!"
"Well Lani, I don't think you will be safe at home so we are gonna have to go back to my place"
