Recap:
"Sophie! Troy!!" I heard Kayla yelling in the distance.
"Uh, we should go back to the house..." I said to Troy.
"Oh, yeah...." he replied, retracting his hand. All of a sudden, I felt cold when he did that....Weird.

"Sophie, where the heck are you!?" I heard Kayla call again.
"We're right here!" I yelled back, standing up from the log. Following her voice, I eventually found her. She was soaked. "Uh, you're wet."
"No dip, Sherlock. I fell in that creek! Now, come on, I'm cold."
I looked back to see Troy far behind us. Nodding at Kayla, I walked back towards the house.
"So what happened...?" she asked as we entered my bedroom.
"I told him."
"The story?" I nodded. "What!? When!"
"Really, Kayla? When do you think I told him? When we were in the garden!" I sat down on my bed and buried my face in a pillow.
"Oh yeah! Well, how did he react?"
"He felt bad for me, I guess..." I replied. "Oh, and do you still have the note?" My voice came out muffled.
"Yeah, of course! Why wouldn't I?"
"Why? I thought you forgot about it years ago..." My eyes furrowed in confusion. Why would she keep it? I mean, there isn't really a good point for her to do so.
"Soph, do you really think I would forget about it? In fact, I framed it, and put it on my bedside table. Every night I read it before I went to sleep." She sat down next to me on the bed. "I never threw it out, or even thought about doing that!"
"Oh..."
"Yep! So what do you want to do now?"
"Go to the beach! Oh, and Jake can come!"
"Can Josh come?" she asked.
"Sure...? By any chance do you, you know, like him?"
"No...." She ran into my closet, trying to hide her blush.
"LIAR!!"
"Fine, I like him."
"I know, but I can't blame you. He is kind of hot." I chuckled.
