"It looks like Troy's already home," I stated flatly as we pulled up in the driveway, looking at Troy's Corvette.

"Yeah, should we torture him some more? Or do you think we've done enough of that today?"

"I think we're good... for now."

"Okay, bye, Soph." He gave me a smile as I got out of the car.

"Bye, Jake!"

As I entered the large and over-sized house, I sighed. Where's Troy?

"Troy?" I called out. "You here?" Of course he is, his car's here.

Shrugging, I walked into the living room where I saw Troy and some girl on the couch. Her head was resting on his chest and his harm was wrapped around her, holding her close.

"Well, I see you have a new friend."

"Who are you?" she asked, glaring at me.

"I'm Sophie. I um.. Live here..." I scratched the back of my neck awkwardly, shifting my bag higher up onto my shoulder. "And you are...?"

"Brooke."

"My girlfriend," Troy said, almost immediately after 'Brooke' had finished.

Was he trying to make me jealous? I nearly laughed at the thought. Pfft, like that would ever work. Especially with her.

Brooke nodded her head and snuggled closer to him. "His girlfriend," she echoed.

"Congratulations!" I chirped. Troy had a confused look on his face; a look that made me smile. "Nice try, Troy, but it didn't work."

Turning on my heel, I made my way back to the elevator. I think I won this round.

Now, I have to do homework.

Me: He has a girlfriend now :P You should of seen his face when he realized I wasn't jealous.

Jake: O: He has a girlfriend? Since when?

Me: It's probably been thirty minutes to an hour since they got together. I dunno.

Jake: Pathetic much?

Me: *nods head* Very.

Jake: Ha, well anyways! I have to go now. See you tomorrow, Soph ;)

Me: G'night, Jake :)

When I got home from school the next day, Brooke was here again. But this time when I came in, Troy and Brooke were making out on the couch in the living room.

Gross.

"Uh, do you mind? Can't you two go upstairs or something?" I asked, tilting my head to the side. "This is sugh a disturbing picture...." I muttered.

"Well, can't you like go upstairs?" Brooke asked, pulling away from Troy's face to look at me.

"No, actually I like can't. So like why don't you two like get your asses up into Troy's room?" I suggested, mimicking  Brooke. Gosh, I hate the word 'like'. Especially when people over-use it.

Brooke shot daggers with her eyes at me.

"Come on, Brooke. Let's go." Troy stood up, letting Brooke's head fall onto the couch.

"Nice going, Troy. Dropping your girlfriend's head on the couch was such a good idea," I told him as I smiled. Brooke hopped off the couch and stood up straight.

"Babe, I'm going to get a snack. I'll meet you upstairs," Brooke called to him. He was already halfway up the stairs when she did so.

"Kay."

Once Troy was out of sight, Brooke turned to me. Uh-oh... Here goes the 'stay away from my boyfriend' speech. Kill me now.

"Look here, missy," she started. "Troy is my boyfriend, not yours. Even though you like him--"

"I don't."

"Shut the hell up and let me finish. You need to stay away from him or else."

"Or else what? Are you going to paint my nails pink?" I suggested. "How terrifying. "

Brooke scowled at me and stomped up the stairs. She really thinks she's intimidating doesn't she?

Huh. She must be an idiot then.

I snickered to myself and took a seat on the couch opposite from the one the two were making out on. I don't want her germs to rub off on me.

Frowning, I pulled out my homework out of my book bag.

Gosh, I hate homework.
