Ok so I am meant to update 'broken hearts' and I will but I wanted to update this story first!

Iana had only been at the guild a few days but she already loved it. She was staying at Lucy's apartment with Natsu. She slept on the bed while Natsu slept on the chair

It was a Friday morning and Iana had just finished having a shower she was searching through her mothers old clothes to find something to wear.

Happy came flying in with his small kitten.

"Oh hey happy where's Natsu?" Happy and his kitten took a seat on the bed with a fish in his mouth

"hish ak tar girld" happy said while nibbling on his over sized fish. Iana sighed while brushing her hair into a messy pony tail.

"Take the fish out of you mouth happy or I'll throw it in the bin" she said glaring at him

"he went to the guild because they're having a meeting about how to find Lucy" he put the fish back in his mouth. Iana paused.

"Umm happy may I ask how close were Natsu and Mamma?" Happy stopped what he was doing.

'Doesn't she know Natsu's her dad?' He thought

Iana had gotten curious about the relationship between her mother and Natsu.

"well they were best friends and they were really close and umm...." He tried to think of something else

"and what?" She said taking a step closer.

"And well Natsu used to always sneak in and sleep in Lucy's bed without her knowing" he said. Her eyes went dark.

"What did Natsu do to mama?" Before he could repeat she ran out the door and to the guild.

When she arrived at the guild only to find that he was still in the meeting so she made her way up to the second floor and to the masters office. When she arrived she stopped just out side the door

"so what do we do we don't know where she is and Iana hasn't given us any clue to where she is?" She heard coming from the door. Even though she couldn't see them she knew who it was.

"Natsu we will find her don't worry" Erza said.

"I know I just really miss her it's been so long since I've seen her" she could hear the pain in his voice.

"Well you also have to look after Iana as well" gray said

"well yeah Lucy would personally kill me if I let anything happen to our kid" there was a small chuckle.

'Wait what does he mean?our? That can't be. I mean I know we both have the same colour hair but him. Mamma could of done better I mean he's an idiot'

"yeah she would kill you then bring you back to life just to kill you again" that was gray again. Every one started to laugh.

"Hey Natsu have you told her yet?" That was auntie levy.

"No I think Lucy wanted us to find out on our own that's why she didn't tell Iana, I think" she couldn't take it anymore she had to ask if it was true so she ran in.

"Is it true?" Every one looked at her.

"Are you my dad?" They could all see the eagerness in her eyes.

"You know you shouldn't ears drop on other peoples conversation" said Natsu looking away.

"Answer the question!" She shouted.

"Yes" he mumbled it was hardly audible but she heard it.

"Why didn't you tell me? You knew and you didn't tell me" her voice was quieter.

"Because Lucy wanted us to figure it out on our own, that's why she never told you who I was" he turned to her with determined eyes.

"You didn't even try to find Mamma did you? You were just here waiting, expecting her to return to you weren't you!" She shouted tears threatening to fall; that hit Natsu hard, he tilted his head forward so his bangs covered his eyes.

"Iana..." Levy started

"it's ok levy leave it, it's between me and Iana you don't need to get involved" Natsu said still facing Iana.

"Iana, I loved Lucy and I have looked for her. I would never just leave her to find her way back on her own I tried my hardest to find her but it wasn't enough. I loved Lucy and I still do and I will until the day I die and we will find her that's a promise!" He hugged Iana who was now in tears

"ok Natsu, I'm all fired up" she said between sobs.

" That's my line ya know" he said with a smirk on his face

"well I just stole it" she whispered back.

"Hey Iana, do you know where you used to live?" Levy asked standing up

"That would be useful" Erza said nodding her head.

Iana went into deep thought for a while

"So?" Gray asked

"I can't remember, the last thing I remember before waking up was mama telling me about edolas and that was when I was... 10" everyone fell silent in the room

"Your last memory was when you were 10?" Natsu asked.

She nodded and looked up at everyone

"Why can't I remember?" She asked in a shaky voice

"It's okay, don't push yourself we'll find out what happened, okay" Natsu said rapping an arm around her shoulder

"Okay" she mumbled

Iana left soon after. She went back down stairs to get a drink from the bar

"Strawberry milkshake please, auntie mira" she said sitting at the bar

"Coming right up~" Mira sang

*sigh*

Iana laid her head on the counter

"What wrong?" A voice asked from behind her. She sat up and turned around

"Oh, Simon, nothing" she sighed laying her head back down while Simon sat down next to her.

"Lies" he said laying his head down facing her

"I'm fine"

"Denial" he replied in a calm voice

"I said I'm fine so I-" she quickly turned her head so she's facing hi only to find their faces inches apart.

"Liar" he mumbled. They stared into each overs eyes 'w-were so c-c-close' Iana thought.

"I-" she started

"Tell the truth" he muttered still staring directly into her eyes

She sighed in defeat

"I feel....useless" she grumbled

"What do you mean 'useless'?" Simon asked slowly sitting up along with Iana. Both of their faces were pink but they ignored it

"Everyone's trying their best to find mama but I....... I can't even remember where we lived" she sighed looking down at her lap.

She felt hands pull her towards Simon

"W-what are you-" he tightened his grip around her

"Your not useless" he whispered into her ear as she hugged him back

"Thank you" she mumbled while a small smile graced her lips.
