She instantly hide her face when he mentioned it, suddenly forgetting the things messing his head. She sigh as she hug her knees, chin on it. "Just childish. Hyosonn and Sungji were arguing about something foolish. Our friendship-" It was just her turn to speak but he interrupted, "Our.. we- who?"

Letting out a chuckle, she stared at the waves coming towards them. "My friendship with them, and.. you."

She knows that it was less than 2 weeks knowing him, but his presence made her sometimes better, noticing that she was all alone bored with her typical school life until he came up and suck out fun out of nowhere. His actions, the way he treated her was different, and she notice that, the way he talk, the way he approach and try to flirt, it was a weakness, his eyes are the weapon, his actions are the weakness of hers. Things happened so fast that she just realized he was keeping those feelings for her. What he said was all the truth, and she can sense it.

He went quiet, anticipating of what she's going to talk about. "One agreed but one doesn't agree, to even befriend you. I mean, i admit that I'm always busy, they understand, but they felt like i'm pushing them away to have you closer. I was stuck between it. Girls with true friendship are mostly sensitive about these kind of things, i appreciate it but they doesn't even know how i'm doing."

"I've been alone trying my best at school, they didn't bother. All the extra works teacher gave me, i do want to help, i don't want them feel like i'm a burden to them so i try to help. Less time with friends, less time with family, less time of being an average high-schooler." To him, he's having that free time, but he does want to be alone and have his free time doing nothing, parents busy, he don't really think it would help if he spent the time like she said.

"Just then, problems came, you came, and from those first impression, you changed, like what you said last night.. they really thought i was so into you that i forgot them. They said i'm spending all my time with you but where were they when i'm through my hardships? They think of the friendship but not physically about me too, that in the end i'm getting further away from them because of myself, not you, not them."

She stopped before continuing, chewing hard on her lollipop and biting it into pieces. "I've noticed it was you- you were there. Even after school they didn't even bother to check on me, its funny, but you, you even searched for me and try to bring me home, help me after that. They argued suddenly that if im with you, it'll break their friendship with me too, I didn't do anything since you came."

He wanted to say something but it was stuck in between his throat, knowing that he was a part of the topic. "I, I'm sorry if i ever burden you or this would make something much worse, especially what you're actually having now. I've never meant to-"

"It's alright. I really appreciate your understanding and company. There would be no one to talk to if it wasn't you though."

And all honesty to herself, he may seem like a jerk but he wasnt that bad at all, he listened. and to realise that, instead of pushing him away, she gain trust for him and tell him about it all. She didn't mind if he tries to get closer to her, or going to stay knowing his limits for her but she doesn't mind things, especially him.

"They're a bunch of selfish people. Good that they're at least loyal, but Hyosonn that type of gossipy girl, and Sungji that somehow overprotective at times, they're my friends."

Gulping down the saliva in his throat, he remembered of what she said, her hate when people were talking about her when they don't even know her well.
