The feeling of missing someone's presence- it can't be replaced, it can't be filled
_______________

An 'eh?' escaped his lips, confused of how a phone got into his bag. He took it out staring at it. She immediately notice it, a familiar phone just like her. She suddenly remembered that she lost her phone a day ago without a trace. Even the ringtone was familiar. She noticed something wasn't right.

She tried to reach for it, hendery was a little entertained that she didn't even hesitate to come over to her to see the phone he just fished out of his bag. So he get along, jokingly stretching his arms high which made it hard for her to take it.

"What is wrong with you?" Her eyebrows furrowed looking at him with a serious face. Not just curious but she was furious at the same time that he didn't want to hand it over to her. He was clueless of a thing- why she needed it so bad and how serious she wanted to have it.

With her blood boiling and temperature rising, Aerin glared at his behaviour and punch his stomach, making him stumble backwards and snatched it out of his hands. He slightly wince in pain, his body bended as he touch his stomach. There was no time to kid around. She made sure that it was her phone, glaring at him as she ask herself how he got it in the first place.

Never she had her parents calling her more than twice in a day, nor her sisters, rarely- siblings and miss a call. Some were yesterday's. That's why she took it seriously. She stared at him in disbelief, the phone was in her hand, showing it to him. It wasn't his, it was hers. "You've had this the whole time?" She didn't asked her how she lost it, how, when, all typical things. It made her fume in anger and disappointment. Why would he took it without her permission, and used it as an entertainment, to seek for her attention. She was mad.

Hendery was left quiet not knowing a thing. He didn't know why he had it, when and how. Believe it or not, he has been with her the whole trip and he have no time to do such thing other than kid around. By the expression she gave off, he was speechless, still didn't get the misunderstanding. She walked towards him face to face, there were barely a gap in between the both of them, her eyes glaring straight into his where not even a single move to be made. He gulped by the sight of her being so close. It wasn't the feeling like it was before, it showed full of hatred. He feared it at some point.

"I, dislike people who steal my stuff. but i hate people who use me for no good reason and make me lose trust of them. Take note of that." Grabbing her bags, she left the place, stomping her way out to take a cab to go home.

She let the tears stream down her cheeks as she looked out the window, feeling sorrow. The roller coaster ride of facing problems in front of her eyes, just all this burden to be the person people believed was someone strong, she felt like a wreck that night. Soft sobs were heard as her breath hitched. It wasn't because of his betrayal that she didn't see was coming and not by the cause the voice call she received from a person she always leaned on, the older sister. Her feelings were making a fool of herself.

Missed voice call from Sis Haelyn

"Hey, im sorry to hear the news and for calling you too much. Your parents were burried near your grandma's grave this morning. We just finished minutes ago. Hope to see you there. If you're going to. For at least, give me a call once you receive this."

Calls and messages she missed, she has understand things by simply staying quiet and calm. She acted as if she was okay, she signaled she was okay. There were mostly no response as soon as she got home, frozen at the same seat she had on her bed. Staring at the empty wall so dull, numb expressions she gave. The mother apologized, sister named Haelyn sympathize,  said that they searched for her that whole day to take her home but no contacts were made so they proceeded doing so without her. To see the last glance- faces of her parents. The feeling of missing someone's presence- it can't be replaced, it can't be filled. No matter how much we hate them, dislike, love or like them, the empty space were visibly and physically felt.
