Yoongi was beginning to worry about Namjoon. Every night he woke up to him yelling someone's name, only to fall asleep again when Yoongi put him to bed. Since hanging out with Jimin, Yerim and Sherry, Yoongi had distanced himself from everyone. He was beginning to feel numb again. People began leaving him notes telling him to kill himself and threatening him, a group of seniors almost beat him up after school because they heard he was dating Goyoo and then suddenly was ignoring her. If the principal hadn't come at the time she did, Yoongi would've went home limping and still feeling numb.
It wasn't that Yoongi wanted to feel that way, he'd just spent so much time focused on Jimin he realized he had feelings for the younger boy. He was scared. He didn't want to open up to anyone, he'd rather keep to himself and if that meant ignoring Jimin then so be it.
Namjoon wasn't any better. Every since the dream he had of Seokjin, he decided it was best if he didn't talk to him anymore, Namjoon could bring trouble wherever he went. At least that's what he thinks. He doesn't know of Yoongi's after school accuracies, though he'd seen Yoongi limping around their apartment a lot the past few day, he just hasn't put two and two together yet.
A few days later, Namjoon realized why he saw Jin in his dream instead of himself. Though he'd never share that piece of information, Namjoon wanted to keep it to himself, for he saw himself in Jin.
It was finally Fall, the time of Halloween, though the Parks didn't celebrate it, they still got in the spirit with their friends.
"Taehyung! Jungkook! Did you guys hear about the Halloween party Jinyoung is hosting?" Jimin asked his two best friends when he sat down at their table. Sherry and Yerim were there, of course, he just didn't want to interrupt the small moment they were having. It was rare to see them being clingy in school, other then linking arms, they didn't do much, Jimin didn't want to ruin one of their affectionate moment.
"Yeah, he said everyone was invited. Even the losers," Jungkook said, Taehyung hitting him right after.
"That's rude! Anyway, are you going, Jimin? We'll pick you up," Taehyung said. Jungkook wrapped his arms around Taehyung's waist, pulling him closer.
"Please come, Taehyung will probably get drunk and do something stupid while I'm not looking. You're the only one capable of taking care of him, or anyone," Jungkook pleaded, giving Jimin the best puppy eyes he could muster, his muscular frame wasn't helping, but it was still cute. Taehyung rolled his eyes and his boyfriend who was snickering.
Even if it hadn't been cute, Jimin was still planning on going. He had asked him mom the day he heard about the party, she, of course, said yes. Jimin doesn't get out much and this was a great opportunity to socialize, as his mother said. (A/N: same Jimin)
"Sure, I was planning on going either way. Jin hyung was gonna give me a ride- actually, I have a better idea. Why don't we all go in Jin hyung's car, come to my house, bring your clothes," Jimin turned to Yerim and Sherry, who'd began listening after Jungkook's pleading.
"Will you guys do my makeup?"
"Yes!" Sherry exclaimed, jumping out of Yerim's lap and bouncing on over to Jimin.
"You'll have men falling at your feet when I'm done," Sherry said when she sat beside Jimin. Jimin bit his lip before muttering, "I'm not gay,"
Jungkook laughed while Sherry and Taehyung giggled. "And I'm straight," Taehyung said, causing Jungkook to laugh harder. Yerim was smiling at them, she could already see the destruction that would be caused by her friends.
The bell rang moments later, everyone hurried to get to their next class before the late bell rang, not before Sherry promised to make a group chat for them to talk about the plans in though.
"Jiminie! C'mon, we're gonna be late if you walk so slowly!" Jungkook yelled.
"Well I didn't ask you to walk with me," Jimin grumbled as he continued walking at his steady pace, not really caring if he was gonna be late.
Jungkook laughed, clearly not taking the smaller boy seriously, while Taehyung shook his head at the two, cracking a small smile.
As Jimin walked, Jin passed by and waved at him, short greetings were exchanged before the brothers parted.
Jin continued his walk back to Earth science to borrow rulers for his Algebra class.
"Mr. Wang, may I borrow your rulers? Ms. Koolaid needs them," Jin said, remembering to use his manners since all the teachers did was nag them because of it.
Mr. Wang was a funny man, he told jokes and goofed around with his students and until it came time to do actual work, that's when he got serious. Everyone knew he was gay even if he'd never said it, not even the schools biggest homophobe had a problem with it. Everyone just loved Mr. Wang.
"Yes you may," Mr. Wang replied, already walking off into the direction of his closet, where he kept most of his materials.
Jin thanked the man before sadly heading back to Algebra.
Namjoon was in that class with him, the same Namjoon who had been ignoring him.
Jin was getting mixed signals from him and finally came to the conclusion that Namjoon just didn't like him. He wasn't gonna force anyone to like him, so as he walked into the class, he went right back to his seat after giving Ms. Koolaid the rulers. Jin planned on getting over Namjoon. He didn't need him, not at all.
Namjoon on the other hand wasn't doing well at all.
He was just as confused about his feelings as Jin was.
