Alex

"Daddy guess what?"

"What babygirl?"

"Mommy and Gerald went on  date last night. I think I will finally have a sister!"

"Oh... they did?"

I can't believe she is dating him! She wouldn't give me another chance but she'll date him? Willow is going to have to do better than that. I thought they were friends? How in the hell did i not see this!?

Alex pulls up to the house and eyes me.

"We need to talk. Now!"

"Ummm okay?"

We walk up to my room and he closes the door.

"What in the world is wrong with you man? You all mad and stuff."

"Hell yeah I am. What's this i hear about you and G going on dates?"

"Um I am a single woman.... I am not in a committed relationship until I say 'I Do'. That means I can date whomever I please Alexander. You are just Alexa's father. I owe you no damn explanation about who I choose to spend my time with."

He steps back.

"So you choose to date him? You wouldn't even give me a chance!"

"Our whole relationship was me giving you a chance! You fucked up so much, I lost count. When you up and left me and your daughter to fend for ourselves, that was your chance! You know how many nights I waited on you to walk through that door with some type of explanation. Or how I had to try to come up with reasons as to why you weren't around. Your damn daughter wouldn't even know you if it had not been for me showing her pictures of her father and reminding her that she had a father. Once she was old enough to talk, how do you think I felt explaining and lying to her about you being gone for work?!"

"Really Willow? I am sorry that I did everything. I am sorry. I was afraid and wasn't man enough to tell you. So I ran. I never loved Angel. You and Alexa are my whole world. Why do you think I am not dating anyone. I even tried to find your father! I m the reason the building fell into your lap. I put that together with Jen. I wanted you to have that closer. I was trying to do the right thing. I love you!"

"I will always love you because we share something that i have with no one else and that's our beautiful babygirl. I thank God for that day you walked up to me at the gas station. If that had not happened, then Alexa would not be here. I don't regret you because I would be regretting my heart."

"Give me a real chance Low. You can continue to date whomever you want. Just give me an opportunity to court you and earn you. That is something we never really had a chance to do."

"I'll give you that opportunity but I will be having this discussion with G. I keep nothing from him. He was my bestfriend first."

Just then G walks in.

"What's up babe."

"Hey G and i'll talk to you later low."

Alex leaves and G gives me a look. 

"Why was he in here? He and I were talking."

I give him the run down on our conversation.

"So I have competition huh? Okay well, I know I will earn every piece of you."

"Awww G! What you bring me?"

"Well I cooked and decided to bring my girls some food. My babygirl is in there with Lexa and they are playing so I brought you your favorite movie, hotwings, rotel, and homemade pizza."

I jump up and hug him.

"You know you are the best right!"

We kiss and Cuddle in the bed as we watch the movie and eat.

"We're your dream girls booyyyyyy"

"Really Low? I don't know why you won't actually sing and pursue it."

"I always have wanted to G but I am so scared. Remember when ALO records tried to get me to sign that 360 deal? Man i knew then that the music business was fake."

"You didnt have the right representation. You know that's my major. Let me help you."

"I'll think about it G. Why didn't you tell me about you becoming co pastor at church?"

"I didn't think it was a big deal. I knew it was going to happen and God has never lead me wrong but my father is doing the absolute most. I just want to do my best by the people in our community. You know I have never been one of those that cared about titles."

"Yeah I know. Have you heard from your ex?"

"No. She hasn't even called to check on Ariana. I have a question for you Low."

"What?"

"Well since you have been in Ariana's life since the day she was born and has taken care of her like she was your own, would you adopt her and become her legal mother?"

"Wow G! You know I will. I love Ari."

"Really? The girls are going to be so excited! So I was thinking, we can have dinner Friday night and invite the family to announce it."

"Okay. I will get Jen on everything. I am off this week. I needed this break and to start on my new book."
