I roll over in my bead and find Alexa and Ari in the bed with me. I get up and grab my robe and hea downstairs to go cook.
I get downstairs and find granny making her a cup of coffee.
"Good morning mama."
She turns around, "Hey babygirl. Your Dad called and he wanted to talk to you. He said to tell you to call him as soon as possible."
"Yes ma'am." I smiled and grabbed my phone. I look up to my granny as she starts grabbing pans to cook. "Thank you ma. Have you seen mama? I came home last night but she still hadn't made it in."
My grandma smiles, "She had a date."
"A date?! Reaaalllyyyy? Nobody tells me anything in this house and it's my house." We laugh and i walk into the next room to call my father.
"Hey babygirl."
"Hey Dad. You wanted me to call you?"
"Yes. I know you have a busy day today but I have someone I want you to meet. Um okay dad. How about I come to LA tonight and i will stay until Tuesday. I have interviews lined up with TSR for tomorrow and I also have 3 celebrity clients for the Soul Sister's Empowerment Luncheon. How does that sound Pops?"
"That sounds good. I will have the made prepare your room for you."
"Thanks Dad. I will be purchasing a room at the Ritz for my Glam Room for Sunday and Monday I will be all yours."
"Okay babygirl. I can't wait to see you. Will you be bringing Ari and Alexa?"
"They have school Dad. I will be leaving my babies with Gerald, mama and granny."
"Oh boy! Prepare for them to be even ore spoiled than before."
"I know right! Love you Dad! See you tonight."
"Love you too babygirl and okay. Be safe."
I turn around and find Ari and Alexa with their arms folded.
"Why can't we go mommy?" Ari says with a sad look.
"Because mommy does not want you to miss school. Education is very important. Right?" I squat down and hug both of my girls.
"You know mommy loves you and I want to be an example for you. I want you girls to follow your dreams, keep family first and always be kind."
They hug me tightly, " Now go get breakfast so you can get dressed and go to the radio stations with mommy and Aunt Jen."
"Yes ma'am!" They run into the kitchen and then I go to my bathroom to get dressed.

I check in on the girls and I do each of their hair. I pack my clothes for my trip and make sure to pack my kit for Sunday. I call Jen and get in the truck.
"Buckle your seatbelts girls."
"Yes ma'am."
We pull up to the first radio station.
"Hey Boss Lady and Little ones."
"Hey girl! How are you feeling?"
"I am better now. Ashton and I are happy and excited about this baby and Lexi agreed to sign the papers. She also has signed the paper for them to have joint custody of their daughter. But anyway, are you ready for this interview?"
"Yes and can you keep the girls with you?"
"Of course."
We walk into the radio station and they are playing Luke James's These Arms. The hosts wave for me to come in.
"Hey! You re just in time we announced that you would be here in 5 so you can sit down and as soon as these two songs play, we will start with your segment."
"Okay cool."
"Is there anything that are off limits? Any questions or concerns?"
"No Y'all know I am pretty much an open book."
"OKay let's roll."
We sit down and the song ends.
"Welcome everyone it's your boy Dj Gem and we have the beautiful Willow in the building. Say Hey to the people Willow."

"Yes! Since Winter formal is coming, It was my idea to have students write letters and turn them in to the office and we are going to be coming by and picking the letters up. We will be reading all letters and I will be announcing the 5 winters on my Insta story, Snap and TSR will be posting the winners on Saturday exclusively. If this pans out, We will be doing more giveaways in more areas in the south. "Yes My bestfriend asked me to adopt my God daughter and I complied. So now I have two beautiful babygirl's who i love so deeply. She has always been treated as if she were mine so nothing really changed except she gained a room."
"Rumor has it, you are dating the Youth pastor at Mt. Zion Baptist Church?"
I blush, " Yes I am. He has been my best friend for years and the timing was perfect for us both. We have been taking it slow and I am so in love with this man. Everyone knows the constant heartache I have endured but we are taking things slowly and it makes me love him more. To have a man that supports you in every way is amazing. He respects my mind, body and spirit. What more can a woman ask for? We have even decided to wait."
"Oh wow! That is commendable. I don't know if i could do it with a beautiful woman like you on my arms. Are you working on anything new?"
"Yes! I am actually working on opening up a location in LA. I have to fly there tonight for the 10th annual Soul Sister's luncheon. I am going to be styling Gabby's hair, Queen's hair and Dearra's hair. They will be on the panel to answer questions about love, weight loss, marriage etc. alone with other panel hosts. It will air on Tv1 Sunday!"
