THE NEXT MORNING

Lily's POV

When I woke up I felt something heavy on top of me. I looked to my right and saw that Harry's head was on my chest and he was hugging me fairly tight. I tried to pry his arms away from me but I was too trapped to even move. I heard Harry make an inhumane noise and I looked at him.

"Harry, please let go of me." I spoke quietly while stroking his hair.

"No." His voice was extra deep since he just woke up which I found really sexy.

Wait, what?

"But I have to, uhm, pee? Yes, I have to pee." I stuttered.

"Liar. I'm not moving."

I groaned and relaxed my body. Harry sat up and loosened his grip around me. He brushed away some hairs from my face and gently kissed my cheek.

"Good morning, beautiful." He grinned.

"Morning handsome."

"I was expecting something along the lines of sexy or sex god or even Mr. Styles." He spoke slowly while wiggling his eyebrows at me. What a freak.

"In your dreams Harold."

"My name isn't Harold. It's just Harry." He said with a strange look on his face.

"Oops. Well that's too bad because I'm calling you Harold whenever I feel like it."

"Fine, buttface. That's your new nickname now." He smirked.

I scoffed at his immaturity. "Grow up, Harold."

He rolled his eyes at me. "Where's your bathroom?"

"Go out my door and it's right across the hall."

"Thanks."

Once he left my room I got out of bed and changed my clothes. Thankfully, Harry didn't walk in on me changing. That would've been so awkward.

I walked out of my room and saw that the bathroom was unoccupied. Where'd he go?

I checked the whole top floor and saw no sign of Harry. Did he leave? He couldn't have. He would've told me... right?

I quickly went downstairs to see if he was anywhere down there but stopped when I saw Liam eating cereal in the kitchen on his phone. Liam looked up and smiled at me.

"Hey Lil. Ready to go job hunting?"

"Uh, I'm actually um feeling kind of sick so I think we'll postpone the job hunting today..." I lied.

"Oh okay" He looked so disappointed. "Well I could stay home with you today if you'd like."

"No no I'm okay by myself. You should go out and have some fun with friends." I grinned.

"I was actually gonna call Niall up so he could help us with job hunting, so I suppose I could hangout with him today." Liam suggested.

"That sounds perfect. Tell Niall I said hello."

"Will do."

I left the kitchen and went back upstairs so I could call Harry. I was gonna grab my phone when two large arms embraced me from behind causing me to gasp loudly.

"Harry! I thought you left. Where'd you go?" I exclaimed.

"I was hiding behind that desk over there because I thought I heard Liam coming." He pointed to the wooden desk in the hallway.

"Oh okay." I let out a breath.

"You really thought I'd leave? C'mon now. I wouldn't just ditch you since you're sick and all." He smirked at me.

I slapped his arm. "Oh shutup. I made up that lie for you."

Harry rubbed his arm in mock pain. "Ouch. Well I'm glad you lied because now we've got the entire day to ourselves." He winked at me.

I smiled. "Yup. We're gonna go job hunting." I poked his chest. "Get changed, we leave once Liam's gone."

"I don't even have clothes."

"You can borrow Liam's"

He made a face. "I think I'd rather wear your clothes."

I raised my eyebrows at him. "Are you sure? Because I'm totally up for that offer. I could do your makeup too- oh and I could straighten your hair!" I clapped my hands excitedly.

"Ew, no thanks. Just give me the loner's clothes and we can head off."

"Leave Liam alone. He can't help that his girlfriend cheated on him and was the biggest slut in the school." I gave him a look saying 'it's your fault, dumbass'.

"Okay okay, I get it. Just give me his clothes." He said, avoiding eye contact.

Once Harry got changed and Liam left, we drove into town in search of any help wanted signs. Harry saw one at the local McDonald's and I smacked his shoulder telling him that I'll be the one who decides on the place I'll be working.

"Hey, what about that one?" Harry pointed to a small cafe.

"Sure, lets go check it out."

We walked into the cafe and were instantly greeted by the sweet smell of baked goods.

Harry dramatically sniffed in the scent and exhaled. "I say you work here forever and then bring me food after work everyday."

I scoffed. "Oh please, if anyone's getting free food it'll be me."

"And me." He countered.

I rolled my eyes playfully at him and walked up to the counter and rang the bell.

Harry, being the moron he is, rang the bell four more times after me due to his impatience.

"Geez, are you trying to cause a scene?"

"Well where are the workers? It's been like 5 minutes!" He complained.

"Harry, relax. I'm sure they're coming. And it's only been like 45 seconds since I rang the bell first."

"Fine." He huffed.

"Moron." I muttered.

"I heard that." He snapped, glaring at me.

"I heard that." I mocked him in an annoying voice.

"Excuse me" A guy about our age who was fairly fit and had blonde, quiffed hair interrupted our childish argument. "How can I help you?"

"Oh I'm sorry, I noticed your 'help wanted' sign in the window and was wondering if I could have an application?" I smiled at the guy who's name tag said Luke. I noticed Harry glaring at him from the corner of my eye.

Wait... Luke? That name sounded awfully familiar and he looked familiar aswell.

"Wait a minute, Lily? It's me, Luke. You know, from the amusement park? We met in the line for the roller coaster." He smiled.

"Oh yeah! It's been awhile. Good to see you again."

"Yeah and don't worry about the application. You can just have the job."

"Wait, seriously? That's incredible! Are you sure?"

"Positive." He grinned. "I'm the manager here so I'll inform my boss about it later on. Oh, and it's good to see you too, Harry." Luke held out his hand in an attempt to shake Harry's.

I almost forgot Harry was standing there and when I looked over at him I thought he might explode. He looked angrier than ever.

"I can't say the same to you, Luke. Now if you'll excuse us, Lily and I were just leaving."

"What? I'm not leaving, I just got the job." I asked, clearly confused.

"We can find a better job that pays better, don't worry." He said loud enough so Luke could purposely hear him.

"I like this job, Harry. It's just a small cafe and it's a perfect first job for me. So I'm staying."

If looks could kill I swear I would've dropped dead right in that cafe because of Harry. He stormed out not even glancing back at me but not before flipping Luke off telling him to 'keep his hands off'.
