A boy ran across the street late for school. He was never tardy! Never! As he crossed the street, a truck came barreling around the corner. The boy jumped out of the way, losing his glasses in the process. He crawled on his hands and knees searching the ground until he heard the sickening crunch of plastic and glass breaking. Oh, his mother is going to kill him. He wandered into class to find it deserted. Or was it. There was something moving across the room.
"Hello, Mr. Orange Jello." The boy said, as he walked towards the blurred blob of what resembled a human. He only met grunts in responses. He took a step closer.
"Are you feeling OK?" He said. The smell of rotting flesh permeated his pores, He was a couple feet away.
"Mr. Orange Jello?" he tentatively asked. He was right in front of the blob. Horror overcame him as he realised it wasn't his teacher. It was a monster. The clam chowder skin fell in chunks and reeked of death. The boy took a few steps back. He screamed as the feeling of teeth sank into his neck.

Ariana gasped as she sat up. She looked around in fear and sighed when she found her room was empty. It was just a nightmare, Ariana. Calm down. She told herself. She slowed her breathing and counted to ten. She did it again and again until she was calm.
A beep from her alarm made her jump and she climbed out of bed to get it. She showered and got dressed. Grabbing her bag on the way out, she locked her front door and trudged to school. She didn't care that she looked like depressed cat lady. She just wanted to go home and sleep.
The first two classes were torture. She trudged into Orangejello's class and threw her bag down. She looked around and internally groaned. Oh no! She saw Yuki and Jake working on posters. She rolled her eyes.
"Mite!" Yuki said, holding up a poster. It was a poster with an earth-chan drawing in zombie makeup with "Rot The Vote" in Japanese at the Top and the same thing in English at the bottom.
Ariana scowled. She was so sick of zombies. The class cheered as the scientist walked into the classroom.
"Oh! Look! Look!" Jake exclaimed, grabbing the scientist's hand he dragged him over and pointed to the posters, "Look at all of these posters! Aren't they great? Look! This one's my favorite!"
Jake held up a poster with "I ❤zombies" written red paint. The heart looked like it was written in blood. The scientist looked over the posters.
"Right. Right. Good job children." Professor Mendez said, looking a bit uncomfortable with all the attention.
Ariana stood up and walked over to the group.
"Have you all lost your mind?!" She shrieked, "They're monsters! They eat people! You're telling me you want these... Grotesque... THINGS running around the street?! Did you forget what they did to my mother?!"
"That was one zombie." Jake sighed, rolling his eyes, "How would you feel if you were a zombie and they wouldn't let you vote!"
His eyes watered, "I can't believe you're making assumptions about a whole group of beings off of what one zombie did."
"THEY ATE MY MOTHER!!" Ariana screamed.
"Everybody. Everybody calm down." Professor Mendez said, putting his hands on Ariana and Jake's shoulders. Ariana shrugged him off.
"*I think zombies are ultra Kawaii. They were people at some point*" Yuki-chan said.
"Right, Yuki." Professor Mendez said pointing to her, "I have some place to be, you all keep up the good work."
Ariana stormed off to the corner of the room. The entire student body has lost their minds! Am I the only sane person left?!
