Ariana walked into the office, finding it deserted. She waited at the desk patiently, in case the office lady had stepped out. Hearing raised voices, she watched as Principal Hammerlick and Mr. Orangejello walked in.
"No part of this is ok!" Orangejello shouted.
"We'll settle this in my office." Hammerlick said as he lead Orangejello away.
"Hi Principal Hammerlick." Ariana plastered a fake smile on her face. Hammerlick returned to fake smile and nodded coldly in her direction. He lead Orangejello into his office and shut the door loudly.
Ariana waited for a few more minutes before she crept quietly towards Hammerlick's door. She carefully grabbed the metal door handle and turned it. She warily cracked the door open. Not wide enough to where she'd get caught, just enough to where she could see what was going on.
"If you stay shut up about this, when I become a senator, I'll give you a job in office." Hammerlick bribed.
"This will end horribly! You're insane! You know you caused this for a reason! When the papers find out about your--"
"The newspapers will never find out." Hammerlick shushed Orangejello, "No one will find out about that... Dilemma."
"You're a psychotic madman! I'm going to make sure everyone finds out about what a monster you are! You'll be finished! I'll make it to where you'll never be senator!" Orangejello shouted. Ariana cowered.
"I'll do anything for that position. Even if it cost children their lives." Hammerlick glowered in a low, threatening voice. He grabbed an award from the left and raised it above his head.
Ariana closed her eyes as she heard the sickening thwack of the blunt object breaking skull. Ariana flinched every time the metal award hit Orangejello. Ariana heard Hammerlick drop the award. She opened her eyes and as she saw the broken body of her teacher laying on the ground, she gasped.
Hammerlick looked at her. Ariana knew she had been spotted.Hammerlick strolled over and yanked the door open.
"O-oh. H-hi principal H-Hammerlick. Um... I-I was j-just... l-looking for something.... My... uh... contacts! Yeah! My contacts! H-have you seen them?" Ariana stuttered, getting up and backing away. The bell rang, "O-oh. Look! Um.. I... I better get to class. S-See you later!"
Ariana grabbed her bag and ran out of the office. She couldn't believe what she saw. Principal Hammerlick had murdered Mr. Orangejello. She knew Principal Hammerlick had been crazy (why else would he let monsters run around school), but she never thought he'd be capable of murder. She could feel Hammerlick's eyes burning holes in the back of her head. The rest of the day, Ariana was jumpy. She freaked out over every little sound. It was 5th period when she heard the announcement over the intercom.
"Ariana Blue, come to Principal Hammerlick's office, please? Ariana Blue to Principal Hammerlick's office."
Ariana stood shakily and grabbed her bag. She gripped the strap of her backpack as if her life depended on it. She fearfully walked down the tiled corridors, checking over her shoulders.
She stopped as she saw Hammerlick standing in the doorway of the office, arms crossed. Ariana gulped and walked closer, dreading every step. She stopped 10 feet from him. Her face paled and she started to shake.
"Hello Principal Hammerlick." She smiled. He can totally tell this is fake.
"Hello Ariana." Hammerlick smiled. To Ariana. The smile looked like it was full of malice.
He knows I saw what he did to Orangejello. He's gonna try to kill me now. Ariana thought, I'm not ready to die yet.
She gulped, "Have a good day?"
Hammerlick shrugged, "It was alright. Let's go talk in my office."
"Um... I would really love to, but..." Ariana really was groping for a lie here, "But I have to leave. If I don't, my mother will kill me."
"Your mother's dead, Ariana." Hammerlick frowned, "She got eaten by zombies."
"Well... This was a fun talk, but... I should probably get back to class." Ariana chuckled nervously, "See you later, Hammerlick."
She bolted down the hallway back to class. Upon entering, she shut the door softly, trying to drown out the screams if the students who were being eaten.
"Where you running in the halls?" The teacher looked up, obviously annoyed that he got woken up from his afternoon nap.
"Uh... No?" Ariana replied, sitting down at her desk.
She sighed. She had avoided death for another day.

As Ariana trudged up the front steps of her house, she fumbled for her key. She lost it as she rummaged through her bag.Come on! Come on! Where is it?! She panicked. She cursed herself out, Ariana you dunce!
As a sudden realization overcame her, her heart skipped a beat. She must've left it at school.
She trembled At the thought of going back.
No! Absolutely not! I'm not going back there! Not with those monsters! She scolded. She searched around the outside of he house as she begged God or whatever was above that there was a window open.
Not finding an open window, she cursed again. Of course there wasn't. She closes and locks the windows before leaving. That crippling fear of zombies had left her leaving the house like a fortress. She started her walk back to school, hating every step.when she got back to the school, it was starting to get dark. She stomped up the steps and prayed that the door was locked.
Surprisingly, she found it open. She took a hesitation step inside, staring in shock what she found.
