Ariana met Evan next to the red locker. Seventh period had just ended and it didn't take long for the nonzombified students to rush out of the double doors to escape the hell known as school. She sighed.
"What you have better be good for making me miss my bus." Ariana huffed.
"I think Hammerlick is up to something." Evan said, looking around to make sure he was safe.
"Tell me something I don't know." Ariana rolled her eyes.
Evan sighed, "OK. So Hammerlick is just trying to turn everybody into zombies to get more votes in the election. That's his whole reason for starting this! He's trying to turn us all into zombies! More zombies equals more votes!"
"I know." Ariana crossed her arms, "When you said information, I thought you meant NEW information."
"It was new to me." Evan pouted, "I just... Should we tell the others?"
"I doubt they'll listen, but let's go." Ariana looked at the clock, "They'll be at their zombie rights protest right now."
Ariana walked out the school doors to where a large group of students were walking in a circle with homemade signs and shouting, "Zombies are people too!"
Ariana stormed up to them, "HOW DARE YOU! You realise that dumb politician who we're supposed to call a principal is just trying to get votes for his stupid election, right? Do you remember what they did to my mother?! He's trying to get everybody to be pro zombie because he just wants more votes and you're falling for it, hook, line, and sinker!
"Yeah, we're pretty sure there's a zombie lose in the school right now." Evan said.
"You're so negative, man." Autumn Breeze replied, "You just needs to take them in and love them. We all share this earth together."
"You're basing a whole race off of one thing one zombie did." Jake sighed.
"Oh my God!" Ariana groaned. "I can't believe you're actually on that stupid principal's side! You realise he's evil, right?!"
"Principal Hammerlick is a really smart guy." A girl in Ariana's class said, "How else could he become a principal?"
"Because he probably murdered the last one like he did with Orangejello!" Ariana shouted.
"Um... Hammerlick wouldn't kill anybody. You're just angry that nobody agrees with you except that weird kid." Jake huffed, "Come on guys. Let's go tell Orange Jello."
"It's Orangejello." Ariana rolled her eyes.
Turning back Jake held up the sign and yelled, "I still love zombies!"
Ariana stormed off to the side of the school and sat down on a flight of steps. She felt her eyes water and she put her face in her hands, starting to sob. Evan took a seat next to her and wrapped his arms around her shoulders.
"Shhh... Ariana... It's ok." Evan tried to comfort her.
"It's not OK!" Ariana shouted, "Why won't anyone listen to us?!"
"Because they're idiots." Jake said, "And they have way to much faith in Hammerlick and his ideas. Did Hammerlick really kill Orange Jello?"
"ITS ORANGEJELLO!! AND I SAW IT WITH MY OWN EYES!!" Ariana stood up and paced in front of Evan, wiping her eyes. She sniffled, "We're on our own. Nobody will listen to us."
Evan stood next to her and smiled, "So what we gonna do?"
Ariana sighed, "I don't know yet."
"Well, whatever it is, I'll stand by you thick and thin." Evan smiled, "You're my best friend. Ok, you're my only friend. But still..."
