The engine of the GTR redlined as it's wheels caught traction, it bolted off of the line and sped forwards. The red Dodge followed closely behind as the Lambo and Ferrari spun their wheels behind them, Skylon pressed his fingers on the right pedal of the steering wheel and shifted into 2nd. The engine lit up and soon the only parts of him you could see from the starting line were his taillights and his neon blue underglow, David's Challenger while fast, couldn't keep up with the GTR. So his job was to not let the other two past him.

Skylon dropped gears as he drifted around the corner, smoke trailed from his wheels covering the road as his engine redlined. He straightened out his car as the Dodge pulled through the smoke, David followed Skylon down a shortcut through an alleyway and pulled left onto the main street again.

As Josh and Bryan turned the corner and went through the tire smoke the two cars couldn't be seen. They kicked it in gear and turned left around the wide corner before stepping on the gas, their V12's having trouble keeping up with the upgraded 'Demon' and 'Godzilla'.

Skylon put the car in 4th and coasted so David could catch up, when he did he showed the black man a toothy grin before looking behind them. He could see two pairs of headlights gaining on them, he motioned for David to take the lead while he shifted down. David's Challenger sped onwards while Skylon decided to toy with the two rich men, he allowed the two Italian cars to speed past him before hitting the gas.

The orange Murcielago went wide on a right turn, while the rear wheel drive Ferrari held tight to the inside. Before they could speed into the straight a sideways blue GTR sped in between them blocking their view with white smoke before straightening and speeding up to his best friend. As he saw David speeding along the street in the final straight he shifted up and past him quickly before crossing the finish line, he slowed down as he laughed and David caught up to him as they drove back to the bridge.

As they pulled into the lot Damian began to smile, he stood up from his seated position as they parked. Skylon and David got out of their cars and headed over to the man, "Good shit guys, good shit."

They nodded as the Ferrari and Lamborghini pulled into the lot, Josh got out of his car aggressively and slammed the door. "What the hell is under the hood of those cars?! We paid so much for these machines, and they can't keep up with lowlife sports cars?!"

Skylon growled and crossed his arms, "It's not the speed of the car, it's the skill of the driver. And quite honestly, you wasted your money. Our cars are tuned and upgraded, while yours are built to look cool."

Josh pushed Skylon back and he stumbled, "Shut the fuck up! Skill of the driver my ass, I'll kick your ass in skill anyday."

Skylon scoffed, "Yeah well, it doesn't look like you can."

Josh turned around and spit at his GTR before walking back to his Ferrari, Damian and David gasped before Skylon jumped on the back of Josh. He yelled as he tumbled to the ground, Skylon turned him over and began to punch his face multiple times. Josh coughed as blood flowed from his nose and tinted his face, Damian pulled Skylon off of him and he showed little struggle. He fixed his jacket before walking back to his car and cleaning the filth off of it, "You don't touch another mans car." Damian recited before picking Josh off of the ground.

The two rich kids walked back to their cars and drove off without another word, only fearful looks. Skylon sighed as he sat on the hood of his car, "I'm sorry Damian, I just fucked your chance of getting that money."

"No you didn't, I stole all the cash out of his wallet when I picked him up."

Skylon's eyes widened before he chuckled, David stretched his back. "So you got enough for that spot outside town?" He asked.

"I should, I've been saving up for a long time. And since it's right on the beach I get a small part of the coast with the building as private property."

David smiled, "Nice one dude! You gonna deck it out?"

"Hell yeah! I'm gonna invite everyone I know when I open her up for a huge beach party, and then we can run drag races on the back street behind the building."

Skylon looked up, "There's a road connected to it?"

Damian nodded, "Yes sir, there's a street that leads to the back of the garage and goes all the way down to the pier. I'll section off a portion of it and make mile markers."

"Nice. Well, we'll be there when it opens. I'll put in my two weeks notice at the auto parts shop." Skylon said as he got in his car, started it and rolled down the window.

"You serious? You're gonna work for me?"

"That's what I said isn't it?" Skylon reiterated with a smirk before pulling away.
