Skylon sighed in content, this is all he needed.

Sitting down on a patio couch with his legs crossed, no shirt, only his unzipped black jacket and jeans. Fire pit in front of him spewing huge flames keeping his post ocean-swimming body warm. A couple of girls under his arms feeling his chest and stomach and smiling with him, and a great view of his GTR being modified.

"Aw this is the life ain't it?" David asked from the opposite couch, he was sitting in a familiar fashion with another couple of girls.

Skylon smirked and nodded, "Yeah, and the sound of roaring cars makes it better." He said referring to the street races going on nearby. Skylon closed his eyes and leaned his head back before being woken by a shaky voice.

"Skylon! Skylon!"

He opened his eyes with a deadpan expression and looked at the blonde, "What is it Jaune?"

"There's this guy outside challenging you!"

"And?"

"For pink slips!"

Skylon froze and smirked, he moved his legs onto the ground and removed his arms from the females. He slowly stood up, he winked at the girls before walking into the garage.

"Mr. Brown, is my GTR complete?"

Damian looked up from his computer and nodded, "Yeah the mods are, but I need to run some diagnostics."

Skylon walked over and grabbed his computer and opened his passenger door on the suspended GTR, Damian questioned him as he lowered the car from its raised position. "Do it while I drive, you just need to check the revs right?" He said jumping in and turning the car on, he lowered the windows as he looked for the NOS. He found a panel under the passenger seat, he moved the computer out of the way and saw two medium sized cans. He smiled and turned the channel to open and listened as the gas made its way to the engine.

"Dude, you can't go without it being tested!"

"This dude outside thinks he can take my car! I'm gonna get his car then we can strip it for parts or sell it! We got this!" Skylon replied with a smile before driving the car through the garage and onto the street, he pulled up into the empty space and awaited his opponent. He revved the engine slowly and felt the car shake and the crowd cheer as the roar surrounded the area, a car pulled up next to him and his eyes widened.

It was the kid from the other week. The rich boy. And this time he was in a Bugatti.

"Sup broke boy? You accept my challenge?"

Skylon snapped when he heard that nickname, his hands clenched on the steering wheel and he revved the car loudly. Bryan laughed and looked forwards towards the girl that would set them off, "I'm gonna enjoy destroying that stupid Nissan." He muttered. But Skylon still heard him.

"Ready?" The girl asked as Damian ran outside.

"Skylon! Don't do it! That thing has 1,500 horsepower! He'll destroy you!"

"Set!"

"Please!"

"GO!"

They punched it and sped off the line, Skylon was so rage driven that he wasn't paying attention when his car redlined. It wasn't until he felt the GTR lag that he pulled the right paddle, aggressively.

The Bugatti sped ahead of him and he squinted, he knew his car lagged in fourth gear so he knew what he had to do. His hands clenched on the wheel leaving an imprint on the leather, his front pressed into the gas harder as he shifted into third. He began to gain on the Veyron before Bryan shifted into fourth, Skylon smirked as he skipped fourth gear and began to fall behind. He punched the NOS button on the center console and was sent flying into his seat as he zoomed up to the hypercar.

Bryan snarled before tapping Skylon's front tire, since the GTR was AWD the wheel spun and Skylon's car went sideways. He slammed onto the brake and pulled the E-brake as he went into a flat spin, the car stopped facing the wrong way as he panted from his adrenaline rush.

He looked into the rear view mirror and saw that Bryan had passed the line...

He looked at the GTR on the steering wheel and lowered his head onto it, he rubbed the steering wheel as he whispered over and over again. "I'm sorry."

Everyone was dead silent as Bryan pulled into the garage, he looked around and raised his arms. "Well? Where's my applause? I beat your 'King'. Now I take his place. I'm now the best racer here."

David rushed up to him as Skylon pulled into the garage, he opened his door and stepped out slowly as David grabbed Bryan's shirt.

"Listen here! Just because you have one of the fastest cars in the world doesn't mean you're the best! Skylon told me a long time ago that it doesn't matter what the speed of the car is, it's the person behind the wheel."

Bryan turned around and smiled at the mixed boy, Skylon was looking at his keys and pink slip in his hand. Bryan chuckled and Skylon dropped everything in his hands, he grabbed Bryan's shoulder and kneed him in the stomach. Bryan couched before Skylon flipped him over and kicked him onto the hood of his GTR, he punched him multiple times before speaking.

"YOU SON OF A BITCH! YOU WRECKED ME! YOU THINK JUST BECAUSE YOU'RE GOING TO LOSE YOU CAN JUST KNOCK ME OFF THE ROAD?"

Bryan smiled through his bloody teeth, "It doesn't matter how you win. Winning's winning."

Skylon shoved his keys in his hand and turned to walk away before Bryan stopped him, "I like that jacket." Skylon took it off leaving his top bare and threw it at the boy. Damian walked past him and put his hand on his shoulder, "I'll get your license plate and stuff out of the truck and glove, you cool off."

David sat in his seat terrified, he didn't know his car could go this fast. Skylon was angrily ripping it around corners and speeding down streets, he continued to tell him to slow down but it fell on deaf ears.

Skylon was pissed. He lost his car. His life. His title. All because Bryan cheated. As he spun the wheel and slid the car around a corner he heard sirens screaming at him and bright red and blue lights.

"Oh just fucking great, look at what you've done."
