"You should definitely put on pants."
He shooed me out while he put on clothes and I walked out to the table to finish getting out the pancakes, sausages, and French toast. Sam was there already eating the bacon, eggs and his smoothie. He saw me and smiled.
"This is great, Y/N."
"Wait, I haven't gotten out the rest of the food."
His eyes widened, "There's more?"
I smiled, "Oh, yeah. Lots more."
Dean walked in as I pulled out the pancakes and sausages. He stopped and put his hand over his heart.
"You are officially the best."
He sat down and started eating. Fast.
"Woah Dean, slow down. You'll get sick." Sam said.
"Absolutely not."
Sam and I exchanged a look then chuckled. Then I remembered something.
"Oh yeah, Cas!"
I looked up and started to pray.
"Uh... yo Cas, I have food. I know you don't eat food, but Dean and Sam are actually sitting down and we'd like you to come, you know, if you're not busy."
Dean looked at me with eyebrows raised and mouthed "yo Cas". I shrugged. The telltale sound of wings made us turn around to see Castiel.
"Hey Cas," Dean said.
"Hello Dean." He nodded at Sam and I. "Sam. Y/N."
I smiled at him.
"Hi Cas. I made breakfast and I really wanted to do something special today, but just tell me if you don't want to."
They all looked confused. I cleared my throat before continuing.
"K, you guys always do so much for everybody and go through so much, so I've decided that today is going to be all rest and relaxation. I'm going to make sure today is great and I've already planned out some stuff."
Dean looked at me strangely, "You don't have to do that, we don't really do nice things for you."
"Sometimes all you have to do is be with someone and you make things better. You guys are my family and my family needs rest. You'd better agree or so help me god I will strap you down."
Sam chuckled, "Okay, Y/N, what did you have planned?"
I smiled, "Hang on, let me get my list."
I saw Dean mouth "list?" at Sam while I was walking away and I winced. Okay, maybe I had gone a little overboard. But, they deserve anything I can give. I came back with the paper in my hand and started reading.
"Okay, for Sam I got a bunch of cool bath stuff and that book about witches you've been wanting to get forever."
"Woah, you found that?"
I grimaced, "Yeah, there was a lot of guts."
Sam nodded like he understood, then looked confused. I continued.
"Anyway, Dean. I ordered a bunch of movies and beer and I made a shit ton of bacon. There's also some magazines that were really embarrassing to buy."
Dean smirked, "Nice."
"And Cas. I went to the pet store and convinced them to let me borrow a puppy for a day. It's in one of the rooms and there are books I thought you might like. I didn't really know exactly what to get you, so there's some cartoons, action movies and romance ones. So take your pick."
Cas smiled at me, "Thank you, Y/N. This was very generous and kind of you."
I laughed, "Well, anything I bought was with a fake credit card, so I didn't exactly pay for it."
Dean spoke up, "No, but you went to the trouble to get it. It means a lot."
Sam joined in, "Yeah, we never get to just... relax. This is really awesome."
Cas tilted his head.
"But what are you going to do?"
"Me? Oh I'll just read or something."
Sam stood up, "Oh no you don't. If we get all this awesome stuff then you do too."
"Like what?"
Sam and Dean looked at each other and communicated with their weird brother telepathy thing.
"You're going to hang out with us." Dean announced.
"Oh?"
Sam nodded, "We'll all go to a room and bring the food. I'm sure we can decide on something to watch."
I looked at the three of them, "Are you sure?"
Dean nodded, "As long as I have time for those magazines later."
Sam rolled his eyes, then looked expectantly at me.
I smiled, "Alright, let's do it."
