Vampire Dinner?

Later that night Edgar and Alan came over for dinner to "investigate" Max

We walked in and mom was kissing Max ew hes a vampire!

Sam interrupted my mom and Max "These are my dinner guests. Edgar and Alan. The Frog brothers."

Edgar and Alan nodded

"I didn't know you were having guests." Mom said

"if we'll be in your way, we can eat some peanut butter in the kitchen.." I said

"No, no, there's plenty for everybody. Max this is my son Sam, my daughter Rosa, and Edgar and Alan Frog?"

Edgar and Alan nodded yes to our mom and we all sat down

Max said "Lucy, this looks terrific!"

Edgar and I were holding hands under the table I looked at him and rolled my eyes at Max ugh I hate him

Mom said "Well, I hope it tastes good."

Max said "Tastes wonderful."

Mom said "Boy! Somebody around here has bad breath!"

Sam, Edgar, Alan, and I all looked at Max at the same time Max looked at us in return with a look of bewilderment we all looked away awkwardly

Mom then said "Nanook! Would you quit breathing on my face."

Sam said "Nanook, get upstairs. Go on."

Edgar kept making gestures to Sam and Alan they finally got it

Sam said "Hey Max. You want some Parmesan cheese on that?"

Max said "Yeah, Sam. Thank you very much."

Mom said "Sam and Rosa grated the cheese themselves. My children."

Max said "Budding chef in the family."

We were all watchin him until he spit out the spaghetti

Max said "Its not cheese, its garlic."

I said "But you hate garlic, don't you?"

Max said "No I like garlic. It's just too much. Its raw garlic."

Mom said "Garlic? How did that happen?"

Sam said in a whisper tone to Alan, Edgar, and I "Guys, he likes garlic."

Edgar nodded to Sam

Sam said "Here. Quick! Drink some water!" To Max

Sam splashed water all over Max it was quite the sight

Mom said "Sam, whats the matter with you!"

Sam said "Does it burn?"

Max said "Burn? What Are you nuts? It's freezing.."

Mom said "Look at your suit, Max. And your pants."

Sam, Edgar, Alan, and I got up and turned off the lights and turned them back on with a mirror on Max's face

He screamed but we saw his reflection

He also didn't glow in the dark

Mom said "Sam whats gotten into you tonight?"

Max said "I think I know whats going on here tonight."

Edgar said "You do?"

Max said "Yeah. I know what you're thinking, Sam, Rosa. But you're wrong."

"I am?" We both said

Max said "Yeah. I'm not trying to replace your father. Or steal your mother away from you. I would just like to be your friend. Thats all.. Goodnight Lucy."

Mom looked pretty mad and said "Thanks a lot.."

"I'm sorry, mom." We both said

I said to Sam "I'll walk them out go talk to mom for us."

Sam said "Okay bye Edgar, Alan."

"bye." They both said

I walked them out I said "Bye Alan." I gave him a hug he was literally my best friend

I said "Bye Edgar." I hugged him then kissed him

Alan wolf whistled and said "Okay guys. I'm still here just so you know but don't mind me I'll wait."

I rolled my eyes and said "Night Edgar, Alan."

I went inside took a shower than talked to Sam bout mom he said she wasn't very happy but she understands

I went then went to bed I was exhausted it was a tiring day
