Blood, Fur, Fangs, And Love

New normal

The past few weeks things have finally started to go back to normal. Well a new normal. Both Harry and I had to eat regularly and sleep regularly or else we suffered headaches or hunger. Being no longer immortal had it's pros, and it's many cons. Ageing in my eyes was a pro, the con was now I have a short life.

Harry was finally warm! God was that a pro, I tell you he was like ice in a hot drink before. He would easily make you freeze after a long period of time. Now it sometimes gets to hot to be near him. But it's better that way because when you get hot you tend to get naked... Hehe. The con is ass pain almost every morning, if you get what I mean?! Wink, wink.

Con to being a human is our true colours are showing. When you are an immortal or mystical creature, what ever you wanna call us. We tend to be mellow versions of ourselves, the ones with a small temper happen to become someone with a big temper. And in my case I became a sass box as everyone calls me. My sarcasm and rude yet blunt manner became ten times worse.

Oh and another pro to being human is no more Rule! They can't touch us, and before you say "but Louis they killed your human family." They did because they were a part of the Rule. And that is why they died so there you go. So no more Liam and the horrid Rule. But I ended up becoming in a way friends with him again. Him and Jocelyn came by for revenge because they were almost killed by my love. And when we turned out to be humans they would be breaking laws by killing us.

So me and Liam patched things up and moved on. He even mentioned stepping back from his Rule position, something along the lines of marriage?! Spoiler! Jocelyn is soon to be Mrs. Payne, and I can't wait until they want to have a little Payne! I asked about that and there was a little bit of a how do I put it... "Louis! Not any time soon!"

Eleanor was nominated for prom Queen, by the one and only. Then she nominated Harry for King and me for Queen. I ended up stealing the crown but she was happy about it. Some I can cross that off my bucket list. Check!; become prom Queen. Harry won king and God did he look like one too!

We are supposedly the hottest couple in the school. Apart from Perrie and Zayn they are everywhere. Well their picture is, they were nominated for cutest couple of they year in the yearbook. We are in second place, mainly because all the girls are after my man. Bitches step aside for the sexy Tomlinson that is his!

It's currently the final month of senior year. The time people look for colleges and shit that will probably get them to a desk job. I on the other hand could live out the rest of my life without working at all. Same with Harry, both in different ways.

The first week after we got out and had been back to school Harry broke all his ties. He walked away from James and the dealing. He ended up working out a deal with Liam, James was put under arrest. He's held at a high max security prison made just for vampires and werewolves. All the people who were involved were sent there as well.

With our money combined we would be fine, and live comfortably with a few little ones. I haven't talked to him yet about staying together forever. Well a human forever. Maybe he wants a few little ones as well?!

...

"Louis!" I wake up by my name being yelled. A layer of sweat covers my body as I breathe heavy.

It wasn't just anybody who yelled my name. It was my mother, it sounded like it did the day she screamed my name when the vampires arrived. On the day she was killed. Harry is still sound asleep next to me, he twitches when I get out of bed.

This whole week I've woken up at this very same way. All happening just after midnight. I realized that not being able to fight off the memories is horrid. Then I'm left awake until school time. Another con to being human... Always needing sleep!

Getting up I shuffle around the room, getting all my clothes and heading to the shower. I wash my body, the warm water makes me sleepy but not enough to make me fall asleep. I dry off and step out of the now turned off shower, looking in the mirror I see a definite change in my appearance.

Dark bags are present under my eyes. My usually bright lively eyes are dull and clouded. My hair is long and unmanageable in any way. Smiling I see my canines never extend anymore, I seem to have a permanent scowl on my face. Looking at my body I see it's slightly thinner. Nothing like when Harry and I split. My tattoos contrast with my pale skin.

Sighing I do my hair, well try to. Looking at the clock, I see I wasted two almost three hours in the shower. That's right bitch I did! I finish up and dress in my clothes. I decided to lay with Harry, he curls into me instantly. Closing my eyes I hope to get an hour more of sleep.

"Louis, Louis..... Loooooooouuuuuiiiiiiiisss." I open my eyes to see Harry fully dressed and standing over me.

"Yeah?" I say rubbing my eyes and sitting up.

"You were sleeping when the alarm went off. Babe, you need to see a doctor about these nightmares." He sits down on the bed facing me with a concerned look on his face.

"What nightmares?" I ask trying not to seem suspicious.

"Babe, do you seriously think I don't notice when you start talking in your sleep and screaming in pain. Or the fact I wake up you are fully dressed and look dead tired." He smirks at me as I rub my eyes again and groan.

"I'm fine let's get up." I say and hop out of bed, leaving an unhappy Harry sitting on the bed.

I walk out of our room and head down the stairs.

"Give me the fucking car keys Niall!" I hear Christina shout and I walk in to see Niall standing with his arm in the air.

"Guys do you have to shout!" I snap and pick up an apple, I sink my teeth into it and bite off a piece.

"Someone is in a mood." Niall laughs as he finally gives the keys to Tina.

"Damn straight." I joke a little.

"So guys, I have something to say..." Eleanor makes her presence know to us as she stands from her seat at the breakfast nook. "I've found someone..."

"Shut the front door!" Harry smiles as he enters the kitchen.

"His name is Vinny." She smiles brightly and claps her hands together.

"Vinny, as in Jersey shore Vinny?" I ask making Niall and Harry burst out laughing.

"No you arse, Vinny as in the Football captain."

"I love soccer!" Christina says in a Valley girl accent. Making El glare at her.

"I think that's lovely, congratulations El." Harry smiles and side hugs her.

"Thank you Harry it's much appreciated, I wish your other half was half as decent." She sends me a playful glare as I scuff.

"He's just not getting his beauty sleep." Harry jokes as I slap his arm playfully.

"Okay, school is starting in a few. Let's go!" I smile and run out the door. We all pile in and drive to school. In a month this will no longer be a part of my schedule...

Character ask will be happening after the Epilogue! This book is so close to being finished and I can't believe it! I feel the tears coming on! Jk but this will be a sad parting and there will be no sequel.
