Ok so like you guys voted for a chapter that was romantic and cute, yet lots wanted some fluff in there too. I wrote both in one chapter, but please, you guys asked for it. Can you be mature about it and not comment stupid stuff? I don't want to sound ungrateful for your comments, but sometimes immature comments come across as rude to me. Thanks guys, I appreciate all your kind words <3

The day of the fourth of October dawned bright and sunny, unusual for a fall morning. From Johnny and Is apartment, we could hear the shouts and screams of children playing in the sea, the sounds of boats skimming the water, and the constant, ever lulling music of the waves crashing on the wet sand.

Because of this, we decided to change, have breakfast, and walk down to the beach to spend a morning by the sea. On a day like this, the afternoon would be far too hot for swimming, so a morning dip is much nicer.

I tease John as we walk along the wharf, because of how burnt he got yesterday; his skin feels hot to the touch. John laughs at this, cursing me for being "too cute." And cute I am.

I haven't grown an inch since turning fourteen. My limbs are tiny, covered in freckles, and coloured a dark brown thanks to all the time I spend in the sun. My hair is short now, falling just past my shoulders in a mass of light brown curls, because of the fact that I come to the beach so often. It was taking an infuriatingly long time to dry, and after spending years living next to a beach in Australia, I decided it was worth the chop. And it was. I needed the change.

John lifts the sheer white pullover I've been wearing off my shoulders, and I chuck our towels down in a pile by a wooden picnic table. After taking our flip flops off we're ready to go, so we stroll over to the edge of the jetty. I'm smiling. Days like this with the person I love make me very happy.

Holding hands, we finally jump off the ledge and plunge into the icy cold water. It surrounds us in seconds, and my hand slips from Johnny's as bubbles erupt all around us. Something slips past my foot, and I swallow a lot of water in shock when I realise it's the top half of my bikini. Crap. Shit. Double crap.

Mere milliseconds later our heads pop up out of the water, me coughing, spluttering, and beyond embarrassed that I'm now half naked under the water. Thank god it's the morning, and all of the families with little children are down by the waters edge, not over here by the jetty.
