What happens if the guy you truly love takes you for granted?
What happens if you are treated like a slave in your own house?
What happens if he accuses you of not trusting him when he doesn't trust you?
What happens if a guy has to choose between...
I looked at him, completely taken aback. He had changed so much that it almost felt like I was staring at another version of ASR. He was dressed in a sharp suit, exuding an air of authority, and his intense gaze locked onto mine as if he was searching for something deep within my eyes. I couldn't help but notice how much he had grown, how the years had molded him into someone new. My eyes traced over his features, and for a moment, I found myself drawn to him, taking in every detail.
But then, the reality hit me. Control yourself, Payal. Don't forget what he did. Even after seven years, the pain and anger remained fresh. I despised him for everything he had put me through, but here I was, betraying myself by allowing my gaze to linger on him. As I realised what I was doing, regret washed over me, and I forced myself to back away, mentally chastising myself for even briefly letting my guard down.

Vivu (interrupting my thoughts and tugging at my sleeves) - Mum... he is that uncle that saved me
I snapped out of my thoughts and looked down at Vivu, then back at Akash. His eyes had begun to glisten with unshed tears as he slowly bent down, reaching out to touch Vivu. But before he could, I instinctively pulled Vivu back, holding him protectively against me.
Me (angry) - Vivu take Aru with you and go to your class now, please
Vivu, sensing my anger, immediately takes Aru's hand, ready to lead her away. But Aru hesitates, turning back to me with her big, innocent eyes. She steps forward and plants a gentle kiss on my cheek, and just like that, all the anger I felt begins to dissolve.
Aru and Vivu (smiling and waving) - Bye massi/ Vivu
I force a smile and wave back at them as they head off to their class. Turning toward my car, I'm about to leave when a hand grabs my arm, stopping me in my tracks. I spin around, anger flaring, ready to unleash my frustration on Akash. But before I can say anything, a little girl runs up to him and wraps her arms around his legs.
Little girl - Papaa!!! Aren't you going to drop me in my class?
Akash immediately releases my arm and scoops the little girl into his arms. My heart skips a beat as I recognize her—it's Pari. The moment he lets go, I dash to my car, my vision blurring with tears. Sitting in the driver's seat, I break down, memories of Akash and me flooding back like an unstoppable tide, each one a painful reminder of what was lost.
