What happens if the guy you truly love takes you for granted?
What happens if you are treated like a slave in your own house?
What happens if he accuses you of not trusting him when he doesn't trust you?
What happens if a guy has to choose between...
I immediately call Karan, asking him to meet me here with Sam. I also instruct him to drop Aru and Vivu at OM. Then, I rush upstairs, only to find Khushi crying.
Me (hugging her): "Khushi! Why are you crying?"
Khushi (sobbing): "J...Jiji, I'm a terrible sister and daughter. How could I even think of lying to you? I was a fool again... I'm so sorry, Jiji. I'm sorry..."
I look at her—emotionally drained, utterly shattered. And I don't blame her. I understand she loves that man beyond reason, but I cannot stand by and watch her be hurt by him again. Not this time.
I gently wipe her tears. "Khushi, listen to me. You are not a bad sister or daughter. You are the best sister ever. But I need you to do something for me. Can you promise me that?"
I know what I'm about to ask will break her, but it's necessary. Those men need to know who they've messed with.
Khushi (sniffling, smiling faintly): "I'll do anything for you, Jiji... I promise." (She places her hand over mine.)
I smile, though my heart aches for her. "So much trust in me... Okay, then. I need you to stop showing love to Arnav. Show him only hatred."
Khushi (stunned, pulling her hand away): "Jiji, what? How can I do that? I love him! I can't just—"
I grip her shoulders and shake her gently. "Khushi, you promised me! How many times do I have to tell you? He is NOT worth your love! For Aru's sake... please, Khushi. If you love Aru, stop showing weakness in front of him."
I see the turmoil in her eyes. She looks at me, at my tear-streaked face, and then she takes a deep breath.
Khushi (teary-eyed but determined): "Jiji... you're right. I understand now. From today onwards, Arnav Singh Raizada will have to face Khushi Singh Oberoi."
I immediately pull her into a tight hug, relief washing over me.
Khushi's POV Jiji, I promise you—I will not let anyone take me for granted ever again. I will stand up for myself and my daughter's rights.
As I lift my gaze, I notice Bhai standing at the doorway. Judging by his expression, he has heard everything.

Me (smiling softly): "Come, Bhai. Join the hug."
Without hesitation, he does, wrapping us both in warmth. We stay like that until Karan and Sam's voices break the moment.
Karan (shouting from downstairs): "Payal!"
Jiji stiffens before breaking the hug, quickly heading downstairs.
Bhai (squeezing my hand): "Khushi, get changed and meet us downstairs."
