Megan's P.O.V

"Waking up to a god awful, loud, annoying ass alarm to go to big building filled with idiotic immature assholes is not how I want my morning to start off." I grumble. Haley chuckles already out of bed and getting ready. She throws my sweatpants and black t-shirt at me and I sleepy dress into them.  With a sigh  I grab my bag with everything I absolutely need inside and walk out of the bedroom only to bump into Jane. She stumbles and I grab her arm to stabilize her. A "Sorry." comes from both of us in union. I chuckle and she looks up at me with light eyes and a broad smile. "Can I catch I ride with you and Haley?" she asks. I roll my eyes playfully at the question. "No, you have to walk." I joke. After a short quite laugh escapes her lips Haley walks out of her room in a dress, hair done, makeup on not that she needs it, looking as beautiful as usual. "This is going to take me a while to get use to." Haley mumbles. Jane looks down slightly and I clear my throat saying a quick let's go. The drive to school wasn't as bad as I had thought it'd be. I mean sure, no one spoke a single word making it an awkward silence but at least Haley and Jane smiled at each other before parting ways when we arrived at school. I honestly cannot wait till graduation. I hate school and thinks it's absolutely boring and not mention, we have no current events classes or anything similar. Ninety-nine percent of the student body doesn't even know the first thing about cooking or taking care of bills and taxes. It's honestly very sad and worrying. Instead of taking calculus we should be learning these things. They say we're taught History so we don't repeat it. What they should be worried about is making sure we don't make our present and future out to be worse. I huff at the thought. Haley's told me I'm very... passionate about the subject but also very annoying when I talk about. History is her favorite class, unfortunately. Mine however, is Science. I could talk about Science for hours but Haley hates Science, says it boring. Shrugging my shoulders I walk into the building and head to my first class.

I'm thankful for the day passing by. I'm currently in my last class, art, when a girl walks in through the door. "Class, this is Leela, she's a transfer student. Leela, why don't you take a seat by Megan. Megan, please raise your hand." Mrs. Archer says. I raise my hand and Leela makes her way towards me. The poor girl looks completely lost on what she's suppose to be doing so I slowly push the instructions paper towards her. "Mrs. Archer always has instruction papers for the day at the front table right by the door. Always grab one when you come in. She's a pretty cool teacher but she won't explain plans out. She's very passionate about her instruction papers." I tell her quietly. Her smile shows her gratitude and she whispers a thank you before getting to work. When the bell rings I'm quick to walk out of the building meeting Grace and Haley at my beat down car. Before I can get in I hear someone yelling out my name. Turning, I see Leela. "You forgot your sketches." she says out of breath. I quickly look to her and indeed, she has my sketches. "Thank you so much!" I say. Leela looks over my shoulder to Haley. "Uh H-hi. I'm Leela." she says extending her hand. Haley shakes her and does something I would have never expected "Do you need a ride? I'm sure Megan wouldn't mind." Haley says. Leela looks to me and I  nod my head because in all honestly I don't mind but Haley's usually not one to just quickly get to know someone let alone invite a stranger somewhere. Whatever, I just want to go home and sleep.
