Jane's P.O.V
Maybe I've ignored it for too long. Maybe I should have put a stop to this sooner. Even a blind person would be able to see Megan's true feelings for Haley. We've been driving for almost two hours and I have no idea where we are. All I've noticed is that the nice houses and big buildings have turned to condemned houses and small liquor stores. Megan made a left turn into a driveway and cut the engine before getting out of the car. She didn't look back or wait for me but she left the door of the house open. I'm assuming this is her uncle's home. I closed the door and sat down next to her on the coach as she sipped a beer. "What do you wanna watch?" She asked me. I looked at her and sighed. "Have you ever told her how you felt?" I asked. Megan scoffed and took a big gulp of the beer. "Yeah I have. It resulted in her not talking to me. She doesn't care and she doesn't feel the same." She said crushing the can and throwing it across the room lazily. She got up and grabbed two more beers from the fridge handing me one. I hate beer but I won't say anything. "You know, I've tried my hardest to stomp out the feelings I have for her that are more than friendly and every time I think I finally have something happens." She says throwing her jacket off. She sits down next to me again and looks me in the eyes. "My sister is a fool. She'll realize that." I tell her honestly. An idea pops into mind and I smile. "I actually think I know someone you'll hit it off with." She starts shaking her head but before she can speak I start talking again. "One night Megan. It won't hurt you. You need to quit doing this to yourself." I say rubbing her shoulder. She sighs and slouches back further into the coach. "Fine, you're right. I need to move on. This time for good." I says with a nod. I smile and instantly grab my phone as she turns on the TV. Megan needs someone to help her and have her best interests at heart. I'll be that friend for her. I love my sister but I can't sit by and let her ruin an amazing girl like Megan.
