So Junior years is officially under way. It's only two months in to school and I'm already stressed out. The amount of homework is ridiculous, and I'm starting to really think about what I want to do with my future - ya know, a plan B just in case the music thing doesn't work out. And figuring that out along with trying to find the right college is very difficult.
One of the biggest decisions is I can't decide if I want to go to a college close to home or not. I mean, it'd be cheaper to go to one close to home, but then I also want the full college experience. I was looking forward to living off of Ramen Noodles during my college years!
My phone rings. The caller I.D. shows that it's Emma.
"Hey Em!"
"Are you freaking out about Mrs. Pearson's paper?! I am! Like, I have tons of things going through my head but I can't get into coherent words to put on paper."
Mrs. Pearson is our English teacher. This paper is supposed to be about where we see ourselves 10 years from now. I have tons of ideas for it, I just need to organize my thoughts and turn them into a decent essay.
"Calm down Emma. Now think about it. What's the first thing that comes to mind?"
"Being famous, duh! But I'm worried that its not the best topic to go with."
"Well then just mention it briefly and go on to something else."
"But what???"
"Do you want to graduate college? Have a steady boyfriend? Be married? Have a few kids? What career do you hope to have? Just right what you know."
"God, you make it sound so easy. It's not fair. I bet you already have everything planned out on one of those stupid organizers."
I look down at the papers filled out on the floor.
"What? Pshhh of course I don't!"
"You've never been a good lier dear. But nevertheless, I'll let you go so we can both get back to work on this horrible essay."
"Okay Em. Don't work too hard now!"
"Wouldn't dream of it! Later"

If senior year is anything like junior year then I am screwed. I've been so on edge lately it's not even funny. My parents keep hounding me about college and careers and I just don't know yet.
And Emma hasn't been around as much because of all of her school club participation's. Not to mention she is now captain of the cheer leading squad. I just wish everything could just calm down. Can we go back to summer where there's no worries? Because this is ridiculous.
Thankfully, Emma has no plans whatsoever this weekend so we are having a, much needed, sleepover. Yes, I am aware that that's sounds very childish but oh well. Here's to never growing up!
There's a knock at the door then Emma bursts through.
"I am here!" She does a cheesy pose and I can't help but laugh.
"Hey Em!"
"Hey Presley! Hi mom number 2! Hi dad number 2!"
"Hello Emma!"
"Lets go to your room. I have something I've just got to show you!" Emma says far too excited like.
"Alright."
We get to my room and she immediately opens up her laptop.
"You'll never guess who I found on Facebook."
