When we got back to the apartment, Gray allowed me to go to our room and take a nap. I threw myself into the bed and covered myself in our duvet and I quickly drifted to sleep.
When I woke up, I checked my phone and it was three p.m. meaning I had been asleep for two hours. I got out of the bed and walked into the living room to look for Grayson and Daniel. They weren't in there so I walked to the door of the nursery, which was cracked half way open.
Gray was in the grey lounge chair, cradling Daniel. I could feel my heart melting. Daniel was staring right at Grayson.
"Hi baby boy." He whispered. I stayed standing in the door frame.
"I know you don't understand me, but you and your mom are the loves of my life. You two are the greatest things that have ever happened to me." My eyes started welling up with tears and I sniffled, grabbing Grayson's attention.
"Hey sleepy head, what's wrong?" He asked me.
"You are the sweetest." I laughed while crying.
"I wasn't lying." He smirked.
"I love you so much." I kissed his cheek.
"I love you too." He admired me.
"Here, can you take Daniel for a second, I have something for you."
"Sure." I gently took Daniel out of his arms and he got up and left the room. I stood there, rocking Daniel back and forth.
"Here." Gray walked back in the room grabbing Daniel and giving me a small rectangular box. I opened it and it was a silver bracelet with Daniel's name in small, cursive letters.
"Oh my God baby, I love it, thank you!" I hugged him with Daniel in my arms. I clasped the bracelet onto my wrist and got on my tiptoes to peck Gray's forehead.
