Y/n pov
We spent the rest of the day hanging with the cast. I got a little more comfortable around Ben, but I still got nervous. We were hanging at the theatre because no one was performing today. Lucky.

"H-hey uhm do yo-you think uh maybe we could act out something? I-I really like ac-acting..." I asked.

"Hmm...LET'S SING SINCERELY ME AND Y/N WILL REPLACE ME OKAY GO!" Mike screamed.

"M-Mike!" I stutter.

"Come on, I heard you singing. Your voice matches it. Go on!"

Mike turned on an instrumental of Sincerely Me. I close my eyes and start singing a bit quiet.

"Dear Evan Hansen, we've been way too out of touch. Things have been crazy a-and it sucks that we don't talk that much."

I got a little more confident. I lived this part.

"But I should tell you that I think of you each night..."

I began with choreography.

"I rub my nipples and start M O A N I N G with delight!" I sing across the theatre.

Ben and will begun singing their part.

We finished the song off strong and loud.

"SINCERELY. ME!"

The music ended and I heard the applause from the cast.

"Uh thanks! I w-wasn't too great though-"

"Don't say that! You were amazing!" Krystolyn cried out.

I blushed at the thought and Mike ran to me and gripped me in a tight hug.

"So what did you think, Steven!" Ben called out.

"She is gonna be the new Zoe Murphy!" A voice calls out.

"New Zoe Murphy?!"

"Yea...I'm leaving next week...so we needed a replacement anyways." Laura admits.

"Oh my god...I-I'm gonna be...the Zoe Murphy?!" I screamed.

"Yup! You gotta act like my sister now!" Mike joked.

"Not too hard! You guys are way too easy to get along with!" I squeal.

"Let's show you to your dressing room. You'll be taking over rehearsals as Zoe so you can memorize the lines as much as you can. Off we go!" All the girls called. They all dragged me to Laura's dressing room. Soon to be my dressing room.

"So this will be yours...only a bit more clean once I leave." Laura tells me.

Okay...bigger than I imagined.

"A-Awesome." I say in awe.

You would expect when you hear dressing room...you don't think of it as like...as big as your apartment living room. At least I didn't.

***

After weeks of rehearsing like a mad man, today was the day I would perform my first performance of being Zoe Murphy. Let's just say I was overthinking EVERYTHING.

I was about to do my make up when I couldn't help but burst into tears. I opened my door and ran to Mike's room as fast as possible. I knocked profusely.

"Coming!" His voice muffled.

He finally opened the door and I hugged him in fear of everything right now.

"Hey, hey....woah. Okay...shh..." He hugged me.

"I-I just...there is a lot of people watching and I-I am...really...what if I mess up...that's hundreds of p-people..." I cried.

"Listen to me. You need to stop overthinking...okay? You know all your lines by heart. You know what movements to do. You know what to sing. You are perfect at everything, Okay?"

I sniffled and nodded.

He wiped my tears away and we let go of the embrace.

"I'll help you with makeup. Just let me finish brushing my hair, mkay?" He asked.

I nodded and breathed as I walked back to my dressing room. It was only a few seconds of being in my room until Mike came in. He did my makeup perfectly.

"Thanks."

"Of course. Now, I've got something you should try doing before performances."

I nod and wait for him to tell me.

"Stand up and look at your feet." I do as he says.

"Now breathe in, and feel all your anxious feeling exit your body as you exhale."

I close my eyes and imagine all anxiety exit my body and my body was relaxing.

"Now look up into my eyes."

I open my eyes and stare into his ocean blue eyes.

"See. Relaxing isn't it?" He says softly.

"Yes. Thank you Mike." I smile.

His adorable smirk showed and we exited my dressing room. We waited for the show to start and I was only relaxed and happy.

It was soon my favorite thing to do in the show. Ben and I finished singing the end of 'Only Us' and he kissed me a really...crappy quick kiss.

"What are you doing?!" I freaked out.

"I-I uh um..."

"I have to go!" I faked as I stormed off stage.

I loved the fact that 'Evan Hansen' kissed 'Zoe Murphy' on 'Connor Murphy's' bed....AFTER HE DIED!

Or at least that's how Jered Kleinman phrased it. I walked up to Mike and see him redoing some of his makeup.

"Hey there...you dead gay suicidal." I say in a sexy voice.

"Aww, I hate you too."

We giggled.

We finished the show and did curtain call. Everyone hugged each other and I was excited as hell that I got through it without stuttering once. I run up to Mike and jump on him, squeezing him.

"I did it!" I screamed.

"What?" Ben asked.

"I didn't stutter once!" I giggle like a dork.

"You truly are a dork." Mike smirked.

I got off him and helped him up.

We all went to do the...most chaotic thing ever.

Signing playbills.

I got a lot of people lining up for me and everyone was really nice and supportive.

After what felt like a million years, we left and the cast went out to eat.

Mike was driving me home and I was more exhausted than I thought I would be.

"You okay?" He asked.

"That...is really tiring." I blankly answer.

"Haha, yeah. You don't expect it to exhaust you as much as it does."

"...God we have rehearsal AGAIN tomorrow!" I groan.

He suddenly took a turn I didn't recognize.

"Where are we going?" I ask.

"My apartment. You are not gonna be able to drive until you get used to being exhausted like this. You look like you could sleep for ages."

"That's because I can and will."

"Haha, nope. Anyways, no worries about trying to wake up by yourself. I'll help ya out."

"Mkay..." I yawned.

"Haha......dork." Were the last words I heard.

Then I fell asleep in his car.
