'Natalia, we're coming for you. Be ready, there's no way around this. We have an army.'

'And we have a Hulk. You think we wont fight you, Alexi?'

'It wouldn't be wise. I'm coming with men, and we will not hesitate to hurt you or your friends.'

'So you know where I am right now? Where am I?'

'Avengers tower.'

'Are you sure about that? For all you know, I could have left.'

'You really thunk we don't have spies searching for you? Our spies saw you enter the building last night and you haven't left yet.'

'Why fight them when you want me?'

'We don't want to fight, but we will if they don't hand you over.'

'Hand me over? I am nobody's property.'

'You're mine, but they seem to think otherwise.'

'They are my friends, and I will not let you hurt them.'

'Then run, Natalia. That's all you ever do. We'll find you again.'

I have to leave. Now.

I throw on my Black Widow suit and grab my weapons. I snatch my phone and leave the room in a hurry.

"Nat, where are you going?" Clint asks.

"Mission." I lie.

"Why the rush?" Bucky arches an eyebrow suspiciously.

"Last minute." I say as I press the elevator button.

Bucky narrows his eyes in clear disbelief as the doors close.

Shit. He's onto me.

I rush out the tower doors and to the car. I hop in the drivers and pull out. I drive down the road with no clue where to go. I just need to leave.

Receiving call from: James <3

"Accept call."

"Natasha?"

"Yes, James?"

"...Where are you going?"

"I told you, Fury gave me a last minute mission. I'm going to Montana."

"...I don't believe you." He says sadly.

"Why?"

"You're known for lying and running away. Especially when it's sudden and for no apparent reason like this. And you didn't put on lipstick. Dead givaway."

"Well, you're just gonna have to trust me on this. Sorry Buck."

"...You always make it so hard for me to trust you. I just wish you'd stop running away. And I really wish you hadn't just lied to me." He says in a disappointed tone.

"What are you talking about?"

"You said your mission is in Montana. You're heading south."

"...How did you know that?"

"Tony has a tracking device in your car. For when you run away at times like this." His voice is bland.
