This is my last chance.
This is the final straw.
Staring back into Death's gaping maw.
My breath is stalling within my lungs.
Gotta fight back or else give up!
Nowhere left to run...
Treasure the final moments left in the sun.
Fight back or else lose it all!
Bleeding heart shredded and raw.
Muscles tensing, bones creaking
With the effort to keep on living.
Forevermore eternity yawns...
Treasure my life before I am gone.
Hope flickering and dying inside my body.
Some small part of me is screaming on so strongly.
Fight back or else slip away.
Nevermore bear witness to the world's wonders...
Treasure the last breath that leaves me to ponder.
