only when i moved on did you finally reopen your eyes
as you watched in vain as i walked away
finally realising i would never get my way
so now you wallow in your own self pity
for no matter how many times you complimented me and called me pretty
you knew we'd finally come to an end
because we both knew I'd never trust you again.
