School had fineshed on a high and low note for dan and Phil . Society held them back as they didn't want to come out to everyone as their social status was allready low . They didn't want to be lower . So by the end of the year they still hadn't come out and they'd been hiding in the closet for so long . Of course phil handnt come out to his parents yet . But somthing between dan and Phil kept them carrying on when others belived they couldn't .

The year ended on a high when phil got an a* in English and did very well in other subjects dan also did reasonably well too . Got mainly b's and c's but a few A's where thrown in there too .

None of them had planned out what they were going to do with their lives from that point. It was a hard debate wether dan should stay on and do collage but in the end he wanted to get a law degree .

Phil and his parents did get along better from time to time . Like he said they weren't allways bad . After he'd left dans that day . He went home to find his parents rather happy and kind towards him . It did last for a while but when things got worse again he'd go and stay round dans . Dans parents almost became accustomed to phil being there

Dan and his parents . Got along very well even though they didn't spend much time with him . Over the months they began to spend more time with him after they over heard him
Speaking to phil that they never seem to do anything as a family . Dans mum stopped working overtime to spend more time with her actual family . It was nice dan liked it

In their last free month of the holidays . Phil decided it was
Time he came out to his parents . When dans parents
Found dan and Phil in the same bed they didn't think much of it until it happened more often and then dans mum thought she caught them kissing once when she came home from work one evening . She though she was seeing things . Until she added things up and built up the courage to ask dan . Dan said they were and she was very supportive off it . She didn't seem to care , only about her sons happiness . Which is all dan could ask for and things at dans house came more relaxed for dan and Phil . They went a little red when his mum caught them kissing again and his dan when they were cooking and dan was hugging the back of phil with his head on phils shoulder. Allthough over time this became more normal .

When phil came out to his parents they were quite shocked and just slammed the door in his face . To say the least phil was broken . He felt lost again . He did love his parents . And so he spent the night round dans . And the next and the next until one evening he got a text off his dad
Come home we need to talk, if you don't come I'm going to pick you up at 10pm
Phil had no choice apart from
To go home . As much as he dreaded the convosation that was going to happen he knew that one day it would . He was 16 for god sake .

The convosation went calm no shouting or screaming . Supposedly they'd come to their senses and accepted them . Phil was still dubious about them to say the least . Of
Course he still loved them . It was just hard after what they did . Let's just say in the end they hugged and made up

After a finishing collage dan and Phil decided to buy a small apartment in the city of Manchester . Nothing too big nothing too small . All of their secondary school friends had moved away now so they weren't really in contact anymore . It was kind of sad really . Once they moved in they did feel at peace and safe at last . They did feel happy about where they were in life . This is all they wanted just eachother

Now you would think it all ended here with sunshine and rainbows . But no , nothing ever goes plan . Phils parents started to ignore him again and pay more attention to his drug addict brother . When I say pay more attention . They wouldn't speak to phil . For no reason .
So one day he went home to visit them . And his brother hit him. The world was mad . Phil obviously went straight home .

Only to find his old friend in the flat . For no particular reason . Phil thought he'd be set up by everyone . So that when he went out and made up with his parents , dan could go have a quickie with his old mate . No that wasn't how it was supposed to end !

Phil found himslef In the company of swings most nights . Somtimes he even slept out there . He wanted dan to explain why he was there . Maybe , it was a miss understanding . Phil didn't know and once again he was a lost boy with no hope in the world . He'd lost his best friend years ago and now he was loosing his boyfriend . Who was just nearly as good as his best friend . She'd sent dan for phil But phil blamed the way he was for messing everything up . Phil blamed society and people phil blamed his best friend for choosing the wrong person and that she shouldn't of

Phil didn't care that the scars on his arm started to appear again because that's the only thing that cured his sickness of the world . Yes phil felt

Until one night dan found him in his normal position on the swing with a cascade of blood from his arm . Dan was mortified . He was scared for phils safety . Phil instantly pushed him away . But that's only when he realised how much he needed dan . Maybe bad things pull peopel closer . Dan wanted society to end dan didn't want to see phil in pain dan didn't want this to be happening why did such a beautiful boy hurt so bad. Why do all the good people get hurt ?!

Dan didn't do anything with Chris . Phil got the wrong imagine . Chris came over to say hello. And he was waiting for phil to come home to
Say hi . Dan looked for phil .
But didn't find him until that night . He saw the boy just like how he met him.

Years later . The boys
Moved house London this time . Wanted a fresh start somewhere new . They where sure of their future careers now
YouTube . It's what made them the happiest . Somthing that once filled phils holes . Phil is now helping others become strong ! And dan he's just as good as allways , he's allways seen the point in living and now he's sees even more , he belived eveyone has a chance and they should take it he belive s that eveyone has a voice for a reason and people's theougjys should be heard we are all humans  with one life .
We have to make it the best life
We can .

And now In the current two boys sit hand in hand walking down a stoney path . Amongst the trees that rustle in the wind . Making the present theirs . Making the past stay in the past . And focousing what's important . The thing is no one would believe  that you can go from being
