Harpers POV

Now I lay in bed, thinking about anything that would distract me for the time being but then I remember what I'm trying to forget and then it's back.

"I mean there's no logical explanation for how you healed. " Elena said pacing in front of me.

"Hey stefan!" She yelled and stefan walked into the room holding his phone looked like he was texting someone.

I wonder where Damon was. When I woke up he wasn't here. Pfft not like I care ...

"Do you think Bonnie would know something? Maybe I should call her."

"Do that I'm going to find Damon" muttered stefan. But before they could exit...

"Umm where is he?" I can't believe I actually asked that but oh well.

"he's back at the club." I nodded and laid back on my pillow.

I couldn't help but wonder why I felt sad that he wasn't here.

Elena's POV

"Hello?"

"Hey Bonnie how's it going ? That's good okay I have a question"

"Are you drunk?"

"No why would you say that?"

"Okay... Well what did you want to ask "

"Is it natural to heal when your not supernatural?"

"Is it natural to give birth from your ears?"

"What..? Are you drunk?"

"Then no it's not natural. "

"Could of just said that you know "

"Why do you ask?"

"Harper she got bitten but it healed right afterwards"

"That's weird. I'll look for something. "

"Thanks "

"Hey Caroline talked to klaus he's out of town you guy should come back maybe harper is something but she doesn't know it."

"I'll talk to stefan and call you tomorrow"

"Okay then bye" she hung up and I put my phone down and waited for Stefan to return.

I turned around and noticed harper standing there. Her eyes were a little teary.

"I'm nothing I'm just human I was never bitten or anything." She said looking pained. This must be really hard for her. I remember when this was all new to me. I felt sorry for her.

I walked up to her a place a reassuring hand on her shoulder. " we'll figure it out " I said giving her a warm smile.

She returned it and then we heard clapping.

Harper tilted her head to look past me and I turned around to see what the source was.

It was Damon.

"Well that was a great show." a very sober Damon said. Wait he's not drunk? This was new.

Harper roller her eyes as Stefan came out of the bathroom.

"I called Bonnie she said-" we were cut off by a phone ringing.

Harper shrugged but ran into her room. All of us following along.

"JACKSON?!"

Harpers POV.

"JACKSON?!" I screamed into the phone.

"Hey sis how's it going?"

I felt tears pricking the corner of my eyes. Jacky is my brother. Twin brother. I wasn't used to hiding things from him. He was like my best friend. I have no idea how I'm going to tell him all this.... If I will.

"It's ... It's .... Uhm how are you doing? How are mum and dad?"

"There doing good. I heard your staying at a friends house ? All of them say they haven't seen you for like 5 days. Mum and dad seem to be acting really weird about it too."

I looked back and noticed all three vampires where behind me.

"Who is it?" Asked stefan

"Harper you there ?"

"Yeah I'm here jacky. Um it's complicated but I'll be home soon. "

"Harper what's going on?" I could hear a sense of protectiveness in his voice. He was always protective of me. Sometimes it was annoying but I learned to live with it.

"Ill see you soon I can't say anything right now but you'll find out soon I love you.."

"Harper wai-" I hung up.

"Who's Jackson harper ?"

"He's my brother."

"What? I didn't know you had siblings." Said Elena looking confused.

"And another little brother. He's only 7. Jackson knows I'm not at a friends house and I can't lie to him. "

"Well that's too bad" Damon said.

"No it's not too bad" I said mimicking his voice."If I have to tell him I will." I said trying to seem confident.

He got up and walked towards me and I had to tilt my head back to see his face. Boy was he tall. He was only centimeters away from my face. Dude personal spaces!

"And who said you had a a choice?" He said with a familiar smirk on his face.

"Hey hey back off. " yelled Elena stepping in between us.

"Idiot" I muttered.

"I heard that. " he said amusement glinting his eyes.

"Good."

I walked out of the room and into the mini kitchen which FYI wasn't so mini. I got out a bottle of water and opened it as the devil entered.

"Well hello there." He said faking a huge smile on his face. Talking small steps towards me.

"Okay what the hell is wrong with you? Are you like this to everyone? Oh and have you ever heard of personal space?!" I yelled at him. Getting annoyed of how close he was to me and how annoying he was.

"Oh don't pretend that you don't enjoy it" he smirked and came even closer.

He dipped his head down and so we were about the same height. I didn't turn away I just stared into his eyes. Gosh they were beautiful. Blue as ever. What that means? Don't ask me. His lips brushed against mine and I felt sparks in my body but then I snapped back to reality.

I pushed him away and grabbed my water and speed walked into my room.
