Chapter One

It's been months since I've seen my brother,he's been trying to convince me to join the force. Be partners, be an unstoppable crime fighting team. To be brother and sister again. I just laughed because I found that funny , he knows I race and tried a couple times to catch me , my own brother.

See it's not that Brian and I never got a long. We do, we are actually really close. It's just, he doesn't agree with what I do. Which truthfully is only racing, I understand how he is more than likely scared I'd get in with the wrong crowd though.

I pull into a parking spot in front of a cute little shop. Hopping out of my car and begin walking in, I took a seat at the counter."I've never seen you around here before"I heard a voice say . I looked up to see a woman around my age I smirk and shake my head.

"No,I'm new around here. I'm Harley by the way"I said  holding my hand out to shake hers.

"I'm Mia, so really what can I get ya"She said with a questioning look.

"A coffee and a Turkey sandwich please"I said looking at the little menu the rested on the counter before handing it over to her.

"Sure thing"She said turning around to begin making the sandwich.

I hear footsteps behind me, causing me to turn my head to see a man. His build like of a body builders but, not as bulky. Muscles defined perfectly as they show even in the shirt he is wearing. He looks at me and smirks noticing I was checking him out shamelessly."Who's your friend Mia?"He asked her motioning to me.

"Her new friend has a name and a voice" I said smirking back at him. Instantly sensing fuck boy energy coming from him. Doesn't mean I couldn't check him out.

Of course I shouldn't assume anything about him since I just met him. Even if he is hot, I'm not giving him an ounce of my time if he's just like any other guy I've met.

"Well Ms. Fox, what's your name?" He asks raising his eyebrow leaning on the counter towards me.

" I'm Harley, Harley O'Connor. what's your name sailor?" I ask giving a nickname of my own. Sticking my hand out with a tilt of my head.

" Dominic, Dominic Toretto. you can call me Dom" he said introducing himself the same way I did. As he shakes hands with me.Damn his voice, did I mention he has a deep voice that could make any woman melt.

I heard hooting and hollering coming from outside. Making me come out from my thoughts. To see a small group of people who stare at me in wonder. Probably wondering why I'm shaking hands with most likely their boss.

Dom decides to break the awkward silence that suddenly took over the room.

"Leon,Vince , Jesse, Letty, this is Harley"He said motioning to me. I give a small wave, I could feel my face heat up with embarrassment.

"Hello" I say waving slightly with red still very much evident on my cheeks. They all the sudden rush towards me with a big hug.

" We prefer to hug then shake hands, plus any friend of Dom and Mia's . Is a friend of ours. " Leon said laughing at my shocked expression.

"I wouldn't call us friends yet, I just met them like two seconds ago" I said wincing at how sassy I sounded.

"I like her already" Letty says wrapping an arm around my shoulders with a smirk.

"Where are you from?" Jesse asks sitting down on the stool beside me. Everyone gathers around as if it is story time.

"I'm originally from Arizona, I moved here not too long ago. With my brother who I unfortunately lost contact with a few months ago." I said as Mia places my order down in front of me on the counter top.
