"Hey Toretto, stop right there!" I hear from behind us. As a police cruiser turns his car around recognizing Dom.

Dom grabs my hand as we begin to run down the alley way. The police cruiser not too far behind us, only for a familiar green car to pull out in front of us.

"Get in!" Brian says motioning at us to get in. With Brian only having two seats in the car I had to sit in Dom's lap. Not that he is complaining though, as he wraps his arms around me tightly.

Brian speeds down the road drifting out on to the main road in the middle of an intersection. I look behind us as I see the cruiser we were running from hits someone else's car as Brian is getting away.

Only for our luck, two more cruisers appear in front of us. Brian narrowly misses them as he manages to swerve between the two cruisers as they tried to block him. We fly into the air as we hit part of the hill before harshly landing back down on the road.

"You're the last person in the world I expected to show up." Dom says as he looks out the window. I rub the back of his hand trying to keep him calm. I could tell that he is very anxious. We were both so close to being caught.

"Yeah, well, I thought if I got in your good graces you might let me keep my car." Brian says glancing over to Dom who smirks at Brian.

"You are in my good graces, but you ain't keeping your car." Dom said his smirk never leaving his face.

"You drive like you've done this before. What are you a wheelman?" I ask from my position as my back is against the passenger door. My legs lay across the console, my feet barely touching Brian.

"No" Brian says shaking his head no. As he continues to evade police cruisers.

"You boost cars?" Dom asks this time. I knew he had Jesse run a background check on him. I know he needed to know who he was.

"No, never." Brian states although it seems like he's trying to avoid the subject.

"Ever done time?" Dom asks again trying to pry into Brian. To get him to tell the truth.

"A couple of overnighters. No big deal." Brian says finally confessing to Dom.

"What about the two years in juice for boosting cars? Tucson right?" Dom questions thinking he caught something on Brian. I nudge him harshly in disbelief, how deep did he go into looking up Brian.

"Dom had Jesse run a profile on you, Brian Earl Spilner." I said giggling at the last name. Why the hell did he change his name.

"He'll find anything on the web, anything about anybody. So why bullshit?" Dom asks as he's finally gotten to Brian.

"So what about you?" Brian asks clicking his tongue against his teeth. As Dom had gotten under his skin.

"Two years in Lompoc. I'll die before I go back." Dom says as his face hardens memories of that place and how he got there cross through his mind.

I rub the back of Dom's head as I notice a solemn expression crosses his face but, as quickly as it was there it's gone. As the sound of bikes come up from behind the car.

"Oh, great" Dom says rolling his eyes as he notices the bikes catching up.

"What?" Brian and I ask at the same time confused on what he was so irritated by.

"It's gonna be a long ass night that's what." Dom says as one of the people pulls up to the side of the car getting close he motions for Brian to follow.

Brian stops the car as everyone on the bikes outside of the car turn off their bikes. Brian and I are the first to get out, Dom right behind me. I feel him grab onto my hand as I believe the leader of the gang hasn't taken his eyes off of me.

"I thought we had an agreement. You stay away, I stay away. Everybody stays happy." The man says to Dom as we are surrounded by men and some women. Guns could be seen in some of their hands.

"We got lost, Johnny. What do you want me to tell you?" Dom asks not feeling even in the slightest apologetic.

"Who's 'We'?" The man known as Johnny now asks curious.

"My new mechanic, Brian. An my girl, Harley. Meet Johnny Tran. The guy in the snakeskin pants, that's his cousin. Lance." Dom introduces Brian and I before moving his attention to Johnny.

"Not his girl at the moment." I decide to throw in only to receive a flat out glare from Dom.

"So she's no one's girl." Tran said smirking looking me up in down making me shiver where I stand next to Brian with disgust.

"She's mine, just seems to like to think otherwise." Dom grits out with his glare set on Tran this time.

"So when are you gonna give me a shot at that Honda 2000 of yours?" Dom continues as he wants to change the subject.

"This your ride?" Tran asks Brian. Ignoring Dom and his attempt to I guess have a civil conversation.

"It was, it's his now." I said motion to Dom, not realizing I just fucked up.

"No, it's it. I haven't taken delivery." Dom said instantly disagreeing as Johnny seems to be thinking over something in his head.

"Then it's nobody's car. Somebody put in the wrench time. What do you think? Lance." Johnny says facing his cousin.

"It's an amazing machine" Lance says admiring the car.

"Yes, indeed." Johnny starts to say. Agreeing with Lance. Johnny pats the side of Dom's shoulder "Let's go, I'll see you in the desert next month. Be ready to have your ass handed to you." Johnny finishes throwing his leg over his bike.

"Yeah, you're gonna need more than that crotch rocket." Dom says rubbing the back of his neck.

"I've got something for you" Johnny says before he pulls his helmet over his head.

"What the hell was that all about?" Brian and Lani say in unison.

"Long story, I'll tell you later. Let's get out of here." Dom said opening the passenger door. Before we could even step foot into the car. We hear the sound of bikes approaching again.

Lance and Johnny pull out their weapons and begin releasing their fire on the car. Dom yanks me over to stay out of the line of fire. Brian quickly moves away, once Johnny and Lance stop shooting. They drive off. With the car going up in flames.

"Nos!" Dom shouts quickly grabbing me to get to cover. The car explodes, sending debris everywhere.

"Harley!" Brian shouts running over to Dom and I. I could tell he is in full big brother mode as he checks me over for any injuries.

"I'm okay, I'm okay." I said groaning as Dom too looks over me for any injuries.

"If anything changes, tell me." Brian said double checking one more time for any injuries.

"Can we get out of here now? This place is giving me the creeps." I said scrunching up my nose as the guys laugh at me.

"So, what the hell was that all about?" Brian asks curious.

"It's a long story." Dom says not in the middle to talk about it.

"Well, we got 20 miles to hike. Humor me." Brian says chuckling.

"A business deal that went sour. Plus, I made the mistake of sleeping with his sister."Dom says giving a short answer.

"Come on, I'll call a cab." I said nudging Dom for his cellphone. I forgot Mia was using mine earlier.

Time skip...

The cab pulls up to the front of the house. Dom gets out grabbing my hand, he helps me out of the cab. He pulls me behind him as we head up the stairs to the front door. I turn to where Brian is beginning to walk down the street. I nudge Dom hinting to invite Brian. It's the least he could do, after all Brian did save his ass.

"Hey Spilner, want a beer?"Dom asked looking at Brian who was standing on the side walk.

With a nod of his head he runs up the steps following us inside. This should be interesting, given I could already tell Dom is pissed off. An I may or may not have something to do with that.
