Chapter Eight

Next Morning ...

Letty , the guys and I were all in the garage while Mia was in the house finishing up plans for lunch . It was going to be either simple hot dogs and burgers or ribs and sausages .I would be going with her to get the things she just needed to get the votes on who wants what.

I was working on my car , I had to change the oil and brake pads on it , along with my tires they were going bald. Letty was helping me out repainting my car with me later after everything else was all done . Brian is supposed to be coming over for whatever reason.

Dom wanted him to start working here which I find nice, I can see my brother more often. The thing is how am I supposed to tell Dom that Brian is my brother .Even though Brian doesn't know he'll be working here part time he will soon.

Speaking of which here comes Brian as he pulls up with a junk red car on the back of the truck. I chuckle to myself as I get closer to the car to get a better look at the piece of junk.

"What's this "Dom asked crossing his arms as he leans in the door way of the garage.

"This, This is your car "Brian said pointing to the hunk of metal with a grin.

"I asked for a 10 second car not a 10 minute car"Dom said not moving from his spot with his arms still crossed.

"You could push or tow this across the finish line "Jesse said looking the car over causing everyone laughed at what Jesse said .

"Is it worth saving Jesse "I asked walking over hopping onto the truck .

"Hell ya , we can turn this 10 minute car to a 10 second car totally"Jesse said opening up the hood.

I blew out a low whistle "Nice engine , needs some fixing modifications and new parts of course but, yeah this will be the finest car on the block"I stated jumping back down from the truck.

Brian walks in looking at my car and the others "You got your Job back at Harry's"I heard Dom say looking over at him as he walked in .

"When you're not at Harry's you're workin here .If you can't find the right tool in this garage Mr.Arizona you don't belong near a car "Dom said walking over to me wrapping his arms around me.

Mia comes over knowing we'll be going out to get the food to make Sunday lunch soon.She walks over to Brian "He owns you now "She said smiling she motions for me to follow her which I go to do but, Dom stops me.

"Be safe and call me if you need anything"Dom said cupping my face in his hands as he begins to lean down closer to me.

"Yes Dom, We'll be fine "I said rolling my eyes playfully. I hear him grumble something under his breath before he grabs the back of my head pulling me into a searing kiss.

"No boys." He said firmly in warning, I know what he's capable of, well at least I think I do. I don't really want to personally find out though.

I heard Brian ask "You really like her don't you?".

"You have no idea"Dom responded .

I felt myself smile even more than I thought I could getting into his car I started her up with a purr she came to life.Mia buckles up I burn a little rubber and speed out of the drive way laughing .

Skip to the store.......

I pulled up getting out with Mia right behind me .Wolf whistles were being thrown at us I just chuckled we walked into the store,"Okay so where are we going "I asked Mia grabbing a cart .

"We are getting sausages and Burgers "Mia said looking down at the list of food and other things.

Walking over we grabbed a couple packs of sausages and beef . Grabbing some bacon for breakfast for tomorrow and eggs.Since we were here we decided to make it a full shopping trip for food because the house was lacking food.
