Ok, so the same problem with Fire vs Snow happened here. I didn't publish everything I wanted to, but it still fits in with the story. It still left you wanted more, of course not as much as the original one, but it still left you wondering if they were gonna get out, and what Allen was going to do. Allen, in this scene, says a famous line from abc's tv series (my fav series btw. But if I use it in both stories I think it's kinda obvious.) Once Upon A Time.

"I will find you. No matter where you go, I will find you." --Charming. He especially says it in the recent season 3 finale, when Snow White goes into the castle and steals the ring from him. I know what people who haven't watched Once Upon A Time is thinking. Snow White? Steal? It was for a good cause. But, I'm not saying the reason, watch it for yourself on the website (abc.com) or netflix, hulu, etc.

Ok enough on Once Upon A Time, now it's Variant time.

QOTC: What do you think of Allen? Do you think he's still in there? Or do you think he's so corrupt, that the original Allen is gone? Please comment below! I don't put these in for nothing!

Swift and Raven didn't slow down for me. I don't blame them. I want to get out just as bad as they did. But, I was still able to catch up to them. I knew Allen would eventually be on our tail, and, being older and taller, would catch up to us.

We round the corner, and we see a glass window. Uh oh, it was a dead end. We gasp, and hear the echo of footprints behind us.

"We're trapped!" Swift exclaimed.

Raven looked through the window, "How much do you want to escape?"

Swift stared at him like he was crazy, "I've never wanted something more!"

I saw what Raven was looking at, "Then survive glass shards."

"Huh?" Swift gasped.

"Come on," Raven said, "We gotta jump!"

"Oh," Swift said, "That's what you mean."

Raven jumped at the window and it broke from under him. The ground wasn't far below from the window, but it was far enough to stun your legs for a few minutes. But what other choice did we have.

"Go on, Swift," I shout, "I'll help you prevent glass."

She nodded, "But, what about you? And Allen?"

"Forget Allen," I say, "He's not the same anymore."

"What if he catches you?" she asked.

"Don't worry," I say, "If I can battle that many guards at a time, I'll be fine. You go."

Swift stood there, giving me a worried look. Then she finally jumped, meeting Raven below.

The footsteps grew louder. I hadn't noticed them over the sound of breaking glass and Swift. I sighed and then finally let myself jump.

But I felt something on my arm and it pulled me back...

I could hear Raven and Swift shout my name as I try to look at the face of the person who caught me. It was Allen.

"Fine," he said, "You can escape. But remember this, we will always find you. No matter where you go, we will always find you."

I gave a confused look as he threw my out the window. I gasp. He let one of the brokwn piece of glass cut my arm. I felt the red liquid drip down my arm. Pain seeped into my arm as I finally hit the ground. No, I was in someone's arms. I was in Raven's arm. He had caught me.

"You're hurt," he said.

I look at the cuts on his face, chest and hands, "You're more hurt."

"Eh," Raven said, wiping some blood that surfaced off his chin, "It'll heal. But yours is amazingly deep, mine just brushed the surface."

"Let's go!" Swift yelled, "We'll bandage it up in the woods!"

Raven dropped me and I felt a feeling of disappointment, like I wanted him to carry me away. What was with that? I never felt that way in my life!

We ran off into the wood. I hear a whistling past my ear. An arrow sticks into a tree in front of me. We all look back and see someone chasing us with a bow and arrow, another with a gun. The gun shot and hit a tree, almost hitting Swift. She yelped and we all ran faster. They kept shooting at us, the bullets punchuring trees and arrow getting stuck in trees and the ground. And we dodged every one. Guess they need better aim.

The more deeper we got, the more woods we came to. It seemed like it wouldn't end, it was so thick. But no matter how thick it was, the people with the fire arm and bow and arrow was still on our trail. There was no way we are going to get rid of them. And to make matters worse, Swift was hanging behind, and Raven and I were also starting to get tired from running for so long. After being in a cage for years, running long distances was a lot harder than I had dreamed. In my dreams, I could run forever. But this was no dream, this was reality.

"When..." Swift started, breathing heavily, "When will they stop?"

"Don't know," Raven said, his breathes becoming heavy as well.

Swift groaned as a cramp built up in my stomach. Outside wasn't what I had expected either. It was bright, hurtful (I kept stepping on rocks and twigs with my bare feet), and just plain different. I hoped I was going to get used to this, because I'm never going back to that place.

The next thing I know, the woods stop, and there's a big wooden lodge in front of us.

"In there!" I shout, "we have to trust them! It's our last hope!"

I knew we couldn't trust anyone out here, but in this case, we had to. We rushed up to the house and knocked hard on the door. The gun shots were getting louder. Swift kept knocking on the door as we could hear the guns get closer and closer.

I started to think that no one was home. Then, this stop was useless and we were dead meat. Just like Allen used to be.

Then to our luck, the door opened, and, without thought, we all piled in and closed to door as the two people shooting at us came into view. They also ran up to the door and knocked on the door, and we stared at the person who let us in with a scared one, hoping she wouldn't let them in.
