Chapter 4: Kate's power reveal

Kate walks up into Wendys for a short meeting with her boss. "Hey Kate, finally got the courage to speak to boss about your work hours?" Asks April, her friend who is obviously a worker.

"Yep! I don't think online classes are working for me anymore. And I actually need friends other than just you, no offence." Kate explains, going to the other side of the counter next to April. "None taken, I understand. One friend is fine, but they might not always be there."

Kate nods and walks to the boss' office. "Hello Kate." The boss says without looking up from the papers in his hands. "Hey boss, I came to talk about my work hours." He finally looks up from his paper work.

"Thanks boss!" Kate says waving at her boss while walking out the door. He nods then starts looking back at the paper work. "Yes! My hours got changed!" Kate yells twirling around. "Okay! Chill! You're gonna annoy the customers!" April says jokingly. "Sorry! I'm off to school!" "Wait! Your gonna be late, and don't you need to arrange things with the school?" April asks grabbing Kate's shoulder. "Already did! And I'm excused if I'm late!" Kate quickly says running out the door.

I finally made it! School! The same as Alex's of course. I see him with a guy I never seen before. i run up to him excited. "Alex look! I'm in actual regular school! Who's this?" I yell pointing at some brunette. "Congrats sis, and this is Andre, he's new. And he's coming over." Alex says looking at Andre.

"Heh, hi...." Who I now know as Andre, says looking nervous. "Andre, your a wuss. She isn't scary." Alex says nudging him. "Yeah but... She's loud." Andre whispers. I was going to say something until some girl which was obviously on purpose, bumps into me. Which results in me dropping all of my books and supplies on the ground. I kneel to the ground to pick them up, but the I heard a familiar voice."Aw man! That's a downer! Welp not my problem!" I look to see who it was and its some ginger haired girl.

"Mary... Nice to see you here." I say glaring at the evil in front of me. "Oh, its you Kate! It should have been obvious! I mean. What you're wearing!" If you don't know, that's Alex's ex girlfriend. (ITS A FAKE PERSON I SWEAR DON'T COME AT ME-)  And I always hated her. She would use my makeup, talk trash about Emerald and Ink, AND SHE ATE MY LEFTOVER WENDYS!

"What's wrong with what I wear?" I ask with my teeth clenched. Standing up to face her. Well for one. That hoodie or whatever you wear, is obviously trying to show those chicken legs of yours! Emerald is wayyy thicker! That girl is freakin creepy though. And don't get me started on Ink. She's to nice for her own good. Plus, she is never getting into any relationship. Flat girls don't ever get the good stuff" AW HECKS NAW! >:V

My eyes slowly turn red, every light in the school turning off due to the light bulbs exploding. "Don't you EVER say anything about ME OR MY SISTERS!" I yell, my hands becoming bigger and red, ripping my sleeves. "Honey, you know its true! And I almost forgot Alex! He never paid attention to me, I'M HOT! Plus, he was boring anyways, he never wanted to do anything fun. And ugly, DEFINITELY THAT!" She says crossing her arms. "W- HEY! I GIVE AN EXCEPTIONABLE AMOUNT OF MEMES!" Alex yells. "I think I see her point." Andre says.

"And Kate, let's be real, Emerald has always been the loser of the family. She has never had a true friend, no boy has asked her out ONCE! Even Ink has had at least, what? 9!? You are just letting her live up to your potential. All you do is decline guys to make Emerald feel better about herself. And that she's 'never alone.' Just tell her she has no chance in having a great life! Get your freakin mind out the gutter! Actually be a woman and tell Emerald the truth! Without you she. Is. NOTHING! Nobody would care! Just you and your stupid siblings! Your mom doesn't even trust you guys enough to tell you were you all actually came from!"  This plastic just crossed the line!

I run up to her and punch her plastic face out of the school. She flies off into a stop sign and I start to walk to her. She looks up at me almost crying. "Who's nothing now? Who has nobody now? Freaking die you worthless piece of sh-" I punch her after every sentence. But the last one I didn't get to, because someone's hand grabs my arm. I quickly smack it out the way and turn to see Alex almost in tears. My eyes and arms turn back to normal and I start to tear up and I hug Alex. "I'm so sorry I lost control again.... I promised it wouldn't happen again but I lied." I feel him hug back and whisper its okay. We both let go and look at Mary. "How do you suppose we fix... This? Jeremy asks pointing at Mary. "And that. Obviously that." Anthony points at the school.

"Okay, I have an idea. But this will reverse time and you will all forget this happened." I say looking at them worried they'll disagree to it. "Wait, since when could you reverse time!?" Alex asks. "Oh, I can't! I use my magic book for rituals!" I pull out a big book filled with bookmarks. "Wow, okay then. LET'S DO IT! THIS IS GONNA BE AWESOME!" Andre yells running back into the school, with Anthony, Jane, Jeremy, and Alex running behind him.

I look back at Mary and sighed. I pick her up, put her over my shoulder, and go back into the school.

One ritual later

I'm back to the part were Mary bumped into me and said her line. I get up, get close to her. And I put my hand on her shoulder. "Ew, don't touch me! Freak!" She smacks me across my face and turns around to be met by, what I'm guessing is the principal. "Mary Chalentay. My office, now!" Principal Colly, as I read one her name tag, turns around to walk to her office while her heels clicked on the ground.

Mary turns around and glares. "This isn't over, Kate! You and your chicken legs won't get away with this fully unpunished!" She yells pointing a finger at me. "MS.CHALENTAY! I SEE YOU ARE REQUESTING A BIGGER PUNISHMENT! I SHALL GIVE IT TO YOU!" Mrs. Colly yells from her office. Mary grunts in annoyance and stomps her way to the office.

I turn around and Alex and his friends are staring at me like I have four arms. "What just happened?" Jeremy asks confused. "Long story, you don't wanna hear." I say smiling. They were going to protest when the bell suddenly rang I pick up my things and run up the stairs.

Got it to 1200+ words! I didn't want to seem unfair, so I decided, "Hey, timetravel" Anyways. Goodbye my lovely gems!~ ♡('ω')♡
